What time did you call NVC last night and talk to Gus? I called NVC last night and talked to Gus about the IV fee too!

He sounded kind of annoyed! I thought he was one of the few good men left at NVC!? :wow:

Maybe it's because he has to repeat the 30 business days thing over and over? Well, it's their fault that it's taking forever to pay the IV fee, not ours!

That's true it's not our fault at all!!

Saylin,

I have ask for your help on page 41. If you don't mind can you chip in.

Also after i posted earlier i did receive an official email with checklist but none was mentioned.

This is what it said:

______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) or supporting documents. However, we are still waiting for the response to the checklist letter for the Immigrant Visa Applicationor civil documentation. Please return the requested information so that we may complete the processingof your case.______F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________The NVC has received the requested DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa Application. However, we are stillwaiting for the response to the checklist letter for the Affidavit of Support. Please return the requestedinformation so that we may complete your case. When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with thisletter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The barcode sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to theaddress provided

They accepted your DS260, therefore you got the response about the checklist for the AOS package that they're "still waiting" on. I assume you already sent it, and that's waiting for review. Call them and see if they have reviewed your IV package, and if it was accepted.

Thanks

I just got off the phone with them but did not get the rep name, she was really rude. Anyway told me to wait until the last package i sent with revision to be reviewed and she cannot tell me anything about the IV package.

She mentioned marriage certificate but i have include my marriage certificate in the IV docs.

Thanks jsumner

We are talking about iv documents sent way before the iv invoice was generated. That is what one member did.

Thanks for clarifying. I realise I read the original question incorrectly. I am not sure the process for reviewing docs that were sent before payment was made.

OMG, 27 of July? That's crazy. I cannot believe NVC has been such a lazy one like USCIS.

I hope all of us waiting for IV invoice will hear a good news soon!

Only one redial and 41 minutes on hold today to find out that we have a case number assigned today!! Yay!! But ... they entered my email address wrong (darn data entry) and she can't edit it yet because it is still being input. I have to call back in a few days to hopefully be able to give them the correct email address.
