It looks like I'm beating a dead horse on this issue. So I'll need to wait a little longer. :bonk:

Bad news: I'll have more time to enjoy the summer in Canada.

Good news: It's not winter here. :star:

Due to the extended amt of time it has taken to complete this process, I have decided to rejoin my hubby until his interview....get out of there before winter does set in!

Thanks, this is very useful information….and taking the time to explain.

I did EP and if you look at my signature, it takes longer than snail mail. One good thing happened to me though, I had a missing document that my stupid paralegal forgot to scanned and I thought will take another 30 days to be review( It didn't happened, they reviewed it right away).

1.The cons of doing EP is you can't find any information from the agents, they have no access to EP, they will not tell you when your case is review and what is the latest date they are working on. You can't either follow others because most of the time people do snail mail.

2.The Pros are , you don't have to send your original documents and pay delivery fees. As far I am concerned if you have a checklist, you can send right away your checklist and it doesn't take long for them to review it ( as per my experience, I don't know about other cases).

At this point is your choice, good luck in your journey! :luv:

Maybe one more note: now you don't have to send EP enrollment and wait for their email response. This is going to save you a month, also they don't send any more auto-replay and it could be stressful thinking what if they didn't receive your email.

Just one question --- you said in your post that now we don't need to enroll into the EP program--- does this mean once the AOS and IV bill is paid we just scan the document and email them or we have to do something else now?

You are welcome :) , good luck to you!

I received postal mail today by USPS from NVC that my visa preference is upgraded to CR1. it is date July 1st.

I wonder if it has to do with processing of my rest of packages which were scanned on 29th?

I tried to call NVC now but no luck getting through after dialing 70 times. From my call yesterday, they told me it was still not reviewed yet.

I have had Case complete since 3 days now - i called NVC and found out. So far have not received any official email about case complete. How long does it take to get the email ? and how long after this do they schedule the interview. ?

I believe this is incorrect. They will not review documents until the IV fees are paid according to several customer service reps. Some have even said that they begin reviewing them after receipt of DS260. If what you are saying was correct, he would have had a case complete by now as it has almost been 30 days since he sent his IV package

Sorry, I guess I don't understand which payment and which documents you are talking about.

My answer was assuming the payment was made before docs sent in.
