Hi!

Hope everyone is doing great and things are moving along for all of you. I have a quick question. I did not front load our I-130 petition as we have a pretty straight forward case and my husband is from Canada which is not considered a high fraud country. We will be sending our IV package within the next week or so and my question is, should we send additional supporting evidence with the IV package or should we just bring it to the interview.

Thanks for your help!!!

We worked with an attorney - and all that was sent (and all that was needed for us - Australia) was our marriage certificate. If your case is straightforward - then that (marriage certificate) should be all that is mandatory. Anything extra is up to you.

How did you submit your IV package before paying the fee and getting the cover sheet? Will this save time, or will there still be a wait of a month while they process your DS-260?

I hope you get invoiced soon!

I just got off the phone with NVC, still my case is not reviewed yet. I ask him about why it shows F2A when I login to CEAC website and he told me in his system it shows CR1 which is the only good thing I have heard. So at least I don't have to worry about retrogression.

Department of state has document listed for every country that they need. You should go through here and you certainly don't want to take a chance with NVC.

Hi! T

Thanks for your input. Yes, I have checked and we are taking care of all the required documents. Just wanted to double check regarding additional supporting evidence.

Thanks again!

Thank you Saylin! I guess this frustration I am feeling is preventing me from thinking clearly. :sleepy:

It's called USCIS brain freeze and it's to lull us into a state of euphoria when we get to NVC, then they hit us over the head for

the rest of the NVC process to then again prepare us for the interview. :D It starts to thaw just about the time your ready for the

interview. :pop:
