the 603 number is the ONLY number and you have to keep dialing until you get a ring... then you get to be on hold for 40-60 minutes.

Keep dialing.... I think there is a redial app out there.. I had more luck just hitting redial over and over. When I was at work, I would just throw on my headset and pretend I was on a conference call while I was on hold..

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that, hahaha

24 Sep '14 IV package received (scanned, 60 day email sent)

05 Oct '14 AOS package accepted (60 days after 06 Aug) Stupid NVC now reviews both packages together, using the last scandate.

23 Oct '14 Checklist received for AOS, missed a couple checkboxes and now I'll have to miss my wife an extra 2 months

05 Nov '14 AOS-Checklist scanned in

23 Dec '14 Case complete!

On hold now to find out my scan date for my checklist docs. Deep down hoping they will tell me case complete, but doubtful since my AOS fee hasn't changed to N/A. :clock:

"Because of the personal attention given to every caller you may experience a brief delay….." *shudder*

USCIS and NVC have given my life 13-month-and-counting "brief delay" :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Alright folks, back from supper and finished catching up on the thread. I'll go work on getting the new thread up since it seems like 90% of you are impatient for it :P

By the way, get ready. I'll be including a link to my new request form to fill out for Yoda Sheet 2.0 ;) I'll post this in the new thread, but please: do NOT fill out the new form if you aren't going to call NVC and get dates for certain things. Only those on the up-and-up completely about their case should fill out the new form. I'll still leave the original request form for those that want to use the lighter form until the end of the year (or possibly sooner, depending on how things go).

Just got through to Max after 40 mins on hold. He confirmed my scan date of 20th June and that I should wait 30 business days (no case complete yet)

I asked if I should expect to hear something by Monday 4th August (30 business days) or if they are currently taking longer due to the workload and he said he has been told it will be done in 30 business days. Looks like I will be stalking the ceac site until Monday and if my AOS fee doesn't change by then I will call again.

So close I can taste it!

As I explain each month: everyone please move over to this new thread. Unlike the I-130 filers threads, we at NVC move each month to the CURRENT month, that now being August. Resistance is futile. :cry: Supersad today although no apparent reason. I guess waiting for a year and 3 months makes one that way. I bet we'll get a checklist too, just our luck.

I know I shouldn't complain, so I apologize. But am still going to cry a little bit :(

Finally... CC as of July 30th. Scan date was June 13th.

47 days just to leaf through a few pages!!! I'm not a happy camper at all. I didn't feel this infuriated and drained even after a 13-month AP back in 2008.
