Congratulations!!!!! Sooooo happy for you :dancing:

Hopefully we will be as lucky and squeak through checklist free :)

Thanks! I decided to simplify our AOS package since we included lots of the US domicile documents.

I attached the 2013 tax transcript only and decided not to include the 2012 and 2011 tax transcripts since they're optional. :star:

thanks saylin.. :) should i bring the updated I-864 to the interview as samreen23 says?

thanks samreen23.. :D

No need. Again, just mention it at the interview. They can update the form right then and there.

I have a question about the IV package... I'm getting it ready now so we can just send it when the fees are available to pay

When it asks for 2 passport photos, do we have to get new, more recent photos taken, or can we use the same ones from USCIS and the I-130 package (I got extras printed up at that time)

It took like 30 tries last time to get one photo where my hubby wasn't making a goofy face, :jest::P:wacko:<_<:D:jest:

just wondering how long the photos are good for and if I can use the same ones

The photos have to be taken within the last 6 months.

Guys I'm really stressing, do I need to be? We sent our I-130 petition on the 9th of July from Australia and it was delivered (courier registered) on the 14th. Our check was banked last week, early in the week (around the 21st I think). We submitted the G-1145 and the email on there is correct but we have had no email yet. I'm worried. Should I be stressing out or just be patient? Is this a very long time to wait for any notification of NOA1 or is this a perfectly reasonable timeframe? Will they send us a NOA1 in the mail regardless of whether they send an email or is it one or the other? I've read some conflicting info (or perhaps I am just dense). Sorry if this is the wrong thread.

Sorry, this is the wrong thread for you. This is for those with NOA2s and at the NVC stage. It'd be best if you found the I-130 Filers July thread and joined that (and asked your questions there).

You can use the same photos if they are less than 6 months old by the time they review your IV package (or CC). :)

If you get passport photos in Canada, they usually stamp the date on the back of your photos. :star:

I could be wrong (as these checklists always look so messy), but it doesn't have a page number/s listed where it says "missing the following pages" so it might just be a generic statement prompting you to return the whole form (all 9 pages), not just the page/s with the correction.
