I sent my AOS package Wednesday last week but they just got it yesterday....unbelievable.

Assuming you sent your package by FedEx or UPS, it arrived at NVC on Thursday. :star:

Since it takes 3-4 days for them to scan a package, they scanned your AOS package yesterday.

Actually, it took only 2 business days in your case so that's good news! :wow:

Or... Did you mean you sent your package last Wednesday by USPS and it arrived there on Tuesday? :huh2:

Do you get an email when your case arrives at NVC? Or do you have to call? I got my NOA2 on July 9th and then I recieved another email stating it was shipped to the NVC on the 23rd of July. Is it too early to start calling them?

Also on my hard copy NOA2 from the 9th of July is stated they had shipped it to the NVC then...

Absolute total nightmare. After 2 MONTHS of waiting for our AOS packet to be processed (we sent the f******g thing on 7th May) we call up today and we have a checklist coming our way. Turns out my hubby copied across the wrong figure for gross income, so we need to correct that.

Can I ask - people that have had checklists (or Saylin/someone that's seen this a lot) - how long after you return the offending items did you have to wait until case complete? Please tell me it's not another 1-2 months?!

Also, we will just need to resend the form, right? Not ALL the supporting information we originally sent?

In absolute tears here, I really cannot take any more. I feel like this will never ever end.

Katie!!!!!! I haven't seen you on this thread in forever !! OMG I feel so bad for you!!!!! If you send in the correction ASAP hopefully it will only be 30 days !! I wish I could help you !!!

Also on my hard copy NOA2 from the 9th of July is stated they had shipped it to the NVC then...

you should get another message saying it was shipped. Mine only took 11 days from TSC to NVC but I have seen others take 4-6 weeks. I think it depends on how the service center batches their mail.

Anyone seen Soloenta, its been a while since I last saw her on this thread, hope all is well. I really miss her.

I think she was involved in the drama on Friday night and therefore not in this thread for the rest of the month....

I'm still not over the 11 months and 6 days at the USCIS. I try not to think about it because it still makes me angry. Now I am dealing with a lazy lawyer. I can't believe some people are still at the NVC. I was just looking at some timelines and signatures.. Ellinora is still here too. I am just floored. When I see people who only spent a month at the USCIS...... smh  ..... They just have no idea.

I think she was involved in the drama on Friday night and therefore not in this thread for the rest of the month....

Sorry to hear that you got a checklist. May I ask why NVC didn't process your AOS package for two months? :huh2:

Unfortunately, it'll probably take 30 business days (45 days) for NVC to review your checklist document unless NVC picks up speed. :crying:

I believe you can just re-send the form, not the entire AOS package since NVC still has your AOS package. :star:

I hope NVC speeds up for everyone. I've been on the NVC thread since April. I really want to "retire" ASAP. :bonk:

Well, everyone waiting for a CC and an interview date, or whatever, it's another case of hurry up and wait. Visa processing is severely delayed. I guess DoS bought their computer software system with a coupon from Wal-Mart. They're having trouble printing visas, completing background checks (third check's the charm, right?) and it's getting backed up.

It really doesn't matter where we are right now, we're a moving target. No matter what stage we're in, we get another backlog. If this were a lottery, we'd all be millionaires.

They didn't say! Basically we sent our package on 7th May and it wasn't scanned in until 12th June. So the actual processing time from scanning in until today and our checklist is about right at 30 days. But they still won't/can't tell us why it took them all that time just to scan it in...
