I got a case complete TODAY! Finally now how long does it take for them to give an interview date? JOY didnt help me at all -_-

I sent my AOS package Wednesday last week but they just got it yesterday....unbelievable.

I-130 Sent: 11 November 2013

I-130 1st i-797(NOA-1): 12 November 2013, Vermont (Dis-)Service Center (1 day in transit)

just got through to them. They said it can take up to 25 business days just to get the case. Got my approval on July 10th. I shall just continue to wait.

Hopefully by next friday they have it.

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!

I'm still waiting on the invoice for IV fee. Has anyone been waiting several weeks as well? Le sigh....

I completed DS 261 on 6/12 and still waiting for the IV invoice. Called NVC when 30 business days were up and was told it will take a little longer.

Absolute total nightmare. After 2 MONTHS of waiting for our AOS packet to be processed (we sent the f******g thing on 7th May) we call up today and we have a checklist coming our way. Turns out my hubby copied across the wrong figure for gross income, so we need to correct that.

Can I ask - people that have had checklists (or Saylin/someone that's seen this a lot) - how long after you return the offending items did you have to wait until case complete? Please tell me it's not another 1-2 months?!

Also, we will just need to resend the form, right? Not ALL the supporting information we originally sent?

In absolute tears here, I really cannot take any more. I feel like this will never ever end.

12.13.2013 - NOA2 via email; I-130 approved. Shipped to NVC

NVC (274 days):

12.30.2013 - Arrived at NVC

Do you get an email when your case arrives at NVC? Or do you have to call? I got my NOA2 on July 9th and then I recieved another email stating it was shipped to the NVC on the 23rd of July. Is it too early to start calling them?

Thanks! All the best to you! P.S. on your expedite request, we sent one last Thursday. My wife received a "your request is under review" 5 days later. I've notice the time scales vary when you do get a response. We never received another e-mail after that, but when she called on the Friday the agent on the phone told her the expedite was denied. LOL. So they will know about it. :)

I got a checklist for my AOS & was told to wait 30 business days. There's nothing much that we can do but just wait.

Just hang in there and you will be fine.

I'm glad we'll be back in September, just before my wife's birthday :). Her niece was planning a Disney birthday weekend. Staying in a hotel, and going to the parks during the weekend. Thankfully my wife's birthday is two days after her niece's. It's nice knowing we can actually plan for that and be back by then!
