Not to mention, if it's like USCIS, then each person grabs a stack of packages and works through them, it's not like they go through each package one by one, in the order they're received. So, if one person, who has later dates in the range, reviews them faster than people with earlier dates in the range, well, it's gonna appear on here that NVC is on later dates, even though there's still people waiting with earlier dates. Hopefully that makes sense

Exactly!

before they used to take just 2 weeks then 30 days then 30 business days now more than 30 business days ....they are getting slower and slower.I don't understand ....For checklist also more than 30 business days to review just one document.

If they're receiving more mail then they're going to work slower and government agencies aren't the type to approve overtime willy nilly lol

It is strange that they are reviewing June 13th documents. My wife's checklist reply entered in NVC system on June 11th has still not been reviewed.

Jag

It seems they are reviewing multiple dates ......

This is how it's been. I remember people with my scan date got CCs before me. It's a range of dates, not one at a time.

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

Please realize that NVC got an influx of cases from USCIS and got backlogged. And since it appears they haven't implemented anything to help get rid of the backlog, until then, time frames are just going to continue to get worse as USCIS doesn't stop sending cases to NVC, backlog or no backlog.

True ,But day by day it is getting worst and it hurts ..............

My friend already came here and they both are together ,but I got checklist .Our case was same dates ..Now it hurts alot to wait 2 months more...

Well, of course it's getting worse. NVC got slammed with thousands and thousands of cases (more so than usual), so while trying to get through all that, they're still getting sent files from USCIS. It's like a snowball effect. So, unless NVC hires more workers and/or goes into overtime (which is unlikely), then time frames will either stay constant or get worse. Without any implementations, the time frames will only return to "normal" when USCIS stops sending them as many cases (simply due to the normal flow of cases being sent, not because USCIS stops sending them files).

You never know, they might all but stop processing I-130s for months on end again like they did last year.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Last week a supervisor (Matty) told Ripu that NVC reviewers are working overtime (till 8PM) and also working on Saturday to deal with the overload. She also told that NVC has hired additional staff but they are getting too many files each day from USCIS and are struggling. In such a situation, why can't they issue CC and ask us to take revised I-864 form with us at interview. My wife and had sent the checklist reply on April 30th. Her email was never found in NVC system.

The checklist is for point 13a.1(Gross total income v/s Adjusted Gross Income).

They need to be smarter in reviewing the documents.

Although that can happen, there are still other visa types that go through NVC; it's not just IR-1/CR-1 applicants and/or those that filed an I-130.

My wife talked to Samantha at NVC and she told her that they have not reviewed her email entered in the system on June 11th. She again told that they are falling way behind than the usual 30 business days. We are not sure if it is for EP cases. She asked Ripu to call by the end of this week.

Frustrating???????

Congratulations Jsumner86. It was frustrating to see your case being delayed for an error on part of NVC. Our case has also been delayed as NVC could not find my wife's checklist email sent on April 30th.

You deserve a big hug :)
