60 days ? OMG have you called them and asked them about it ? like how long is it going to take ? i am scared now :( i hope i don't have to wait this long cause my AOS packet is still not been scanned yet they told me it will appear on 27th along with IV invoice but its weekend so i am hoping that it's going to happen on monday.

Yes I have! I called three weeks ago. The lady on the phone told me to wait two more weeks. I asked her and what if nothing happens by then, when I call back then will you be able to do something. She then told me again wait two weeks and call back. I am nervous to call because I do have a bit of a temper and I am fed up with this wait. I tried calling on friday when I was off work and during my breaks, but I never got threw. I know Mondays are buy too, but I will try. Any suggestions on if I should ask for someone higher up? And will they actually be able to do anything or are they just going to tell me another two weeks. Thats why I havent called because I really dont want to be on the phone for more than an hour and get told just to wait two weeks. If they do something I would be amazed, but i doubt it.

60 DAYS!!?? :wow: I hope it's not at least 60 business days!

Waiting for 60 days to pay for the IV fee is a crime! :bonk: I don't know how they sleep at night.

I hope you get your IV fee invoice this week! Fingers crossed! :star:

Hopefully! But I am deffinatly losing hope, because I have been hoping for an entire month. And are they going to do this again while waiting for a case complete :clock: I know you can never exactly estimate when your husband or wife will be here, but we are now a month longer than what we had expected.

can anyone help me with this situation?

our last document scanned on June 20, 2014. So if the 30 business days blah blah is correct, this week or probably next week, we will got our case complete. but then, my husband moved last week. is it advisable to update the nvc for the new address? and how about the ds260? the address there was the old one.

60 days???? You should call and ask to speak with a supervisor, that's what my husband did when it was 30business days for us.

Will the supervisor have an answer as to why I have had to wait so long, or will they have my case finally looked at?

Will they give me a hard time to speak with the supervisor? And before explaining anything to them do I ask for the supervisor right away?

Thank you.

When my husband called and spoke with the NVC rep, he told her that its already 30business days and she was telling him to wait more, he quickly told the rep that he will like to speak to a supervisor, she said she'll place him on hold so she can go and check out if there's any supervisor available. He was placed on hold for a long time but eventually spoke with a supervisor last week Friday and he promised to unlock it for us. We got the IV bill email on Monday but it wasn't available to pay till after 2business days. So I think the supervisor helped us as promised. Call NVC and tell the rep that you'll like to speak with a supervisor. The Rep will check if there's any available Supervisor that you can speak with. 60 days is just way too much to wait. I just don't understand NVC anymore, do they want to stress the life out of us???? I paid IV bill on wednesday July 23, status showed PAID on July 24 and I filled and submitted the DS-260. I checked ceac.state.gov now and my IV status changed from PAID to IN PROCESS. What the heck is going on??? What do I do now????

I have been waiting 60 days exactly today! :(

That is so unfair. Get on the phone and demand a supervisor. Don't take no for an answer.

Here's hoping for an unlock this week. :)

Hi Amanda,

When was your last scan date? You're so close.

I don't actually know my scan date, but my checklist was received June 16th. My guess is that it was scanned by about June 20th?...

I just was totally over calling NVC, so I thought I would wait until more people start getting CC with scan dates around when mine was received (which hopefully will be this week) and then I will keep an eye on CEAC for the N/A AOS fee and if nothing changes I will call at the end of the week.
