No IV fee invoice yet and I am pretty sure my interview will be in Oct or Nov. I think I will visit Los Angeles to see my husband again-this will be my 4th visit in 8months. Plus we met in Honolulu last month as well.

And I noticed that hiring a lawyer was cheaper than 4 round trip airline tickets for Tokyo-LAX + 1 for Tokyo-HNL lol.

I dont know how much money I should spend because of this annoying process..

Well if it makes you feel better I actually am doing those things! My husband is visiting this week and we filled out the i864ez together because he finally got his 2013 tax return :) I'm the form filler-outer in this relationship. I fill them out long before we need 'em!

Since I've replied to you, I have a question that you might know about. For the ds260 for current/prior work information how much did you need to put in? I know the old ds230 required the past 10 years with month/year, but looking at the examples that the NVC has it's not really clear. I'm not near this stage yet but I don't know the exact dates for my previous employments! :s

I actually didn't have to fill out anything beyond present working. There is a little checklist it goes through to decide if you need to fill out the information or not.

Does anyone remember where this checklist is? We had it posted in the forums at one point... >.<

Alrighty, I looked at it super closely this time.

These are the conditions for people who need to fill out their entire previous work history it seems?

- Males between ages 14-60

- Anyone over 14 from Burma, China, Cuba, India, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, stateless

- Anyone who is retired, not employed, or a homemaker

- everyone filing for visas that aren't IR1/CR1

So going by this it seems like I don't need all of my past work and education but I found it anyways! I'll have to wait and see.

I'm preparing myself but I think I'm mentally torturing myself to make sure I don't mess up this process! :s

I'm pretty certain that it only asks for the previous 10 years for work history, rather than your ENTIRE work history if that helps at all. :)
