First part, I would leave it blank. If you're checking box 11.a. most people that answer that won't have an A number, just put her SSN in box 10 and you should be fine.

I filled out the regular I-864 and did not write N/A on anything, I left blanks all over the place, and we did not receive a checklist. The NA/Blank fiasco has to do with form I-864EZ for the question about residence/mailing address.

Thank you!

Thank you Saylin for clearing that up, Yes, I completely misunderstood! I will be following your advice!!!!

If there is a way to take down my original post so others dont get confused I am willing to do that! Just let me know. :bonk:

No worries, glad I clarified!

As mentioned by others, one member here did send the IV package using the AOS bar-coded cover sheet, but we don't know how that turned out yet. And even if they weren't delayed and everything was fine, I mentioned previously, either in this month or last, that I still wouldn't recommend doing it. If NVC gets your IV package before the IV bill is even invoiced and paid, it can cause delays. Which can result to the package being lost, and since it contains originals/certified copies, this really isn't recommended. As bdrew mentioned above, take this backlog time to go over your packages and don't rush things. People are getting checklists for the silliest mistakes. It's better to take a couple extra days thoroughly reviewing the paperwork instead of rushing through things then getting a checklist, costing you 30 business days. [And just to clarify, when I say "you", I don't mean just you specifically, but to everyone here.]

And no reason to take down your post, as long as people read my subsequent reply ;)

Can any one help me....I have got email from NVC to pay AOS fee $88 and fill up DS261 form. but when i log in to NVC using my case number and invoice ID to pay AOS fee. it shows i have balance is $0.00 and does not allow to to do anything. Samething when i try to fill up DS261 online after log in it says this case is not ready yet for further process. Any suggestion what to do...

Same thing happened to me and some vjers here, some of us got the IV bill but couldn't pay it online after 2business days of receiving the bill email. So give it few days, maybe Monday or Tuesday it should be available online for you to pay.

Just updated the wiki in regards to sending the two packages together (among a few other things). I added a little line saying it's not currently recommended due to the delays between the two tracks. Hope that clarifies in the future for others :)

I agree with that 100% unless you have a lawyer! :star:

If you have a lawyer, you won't wait for 30 business days (45 days) to get your IV fee invoice so you can send your AOS and IV packages together!

And finally got around to updating the EP wiki about security properties (as promised earlier this week). Thanks again to VJ members 100JH and JeffNJazz for discussing this here :) (Let me know if anything else should be added in regards to that)

Your AOS package may be reviewed on Monday or Tuesday. My AOS scan date is June 16th so I'll probably hear something next week too.

I'm relaxed about my AOS package since it won't delay my application timeline that much (maybe only 7-10 days) even if I get a checklist since I had to wait for 42 days to pay the IV fee (and I sent the AOS package as soon as I paid the fee). You did the same thing. You sent your AOS package as soon as you paid the fee. :star:

We have the identical timeline (almost). Fingers crossed for both of us!

Yea almost same timeline, hopefully we'll hear good news next week. I'll follow your timeline. Fingers crossed for both of us.

I would totally do that!! But alas, I'm not a lawyer.

Oh, oh, can she hire me? :D

Sorry, but you're misunderstanding the wiki as I stated no where you can do that. If you send both packages together, each has their own respective bar-coded cover sheet. Right now, since there's a ~30 business day delay between filling out the DS-261 and getting the IV bill invoiced, sending both packages together is not smart as you'll have to wait close to 2 months (from when you're able to send the AOS package) before you can send the IV package. So, until time frames go down (if ever), it's smarter to send the AOS package as soon as possible. The reason why I state it's smarter is that in case you get a checklist on the AOS package, it won't delay your case as you likely won't even be able to send the IV package at that point.

But of course, that's just my opinion. You can of course do what you like ;)

Lol I will tell u the answers of the two questions they ask and u can pretend to be me and call them everyday :D u r hired from Monday :D:rofl:

Nope nothing yet. Infact the day it was published I remember bdrew telling about three embassies which included Pakistan, Taiwan and Australia and whose visas were issued without problem. And on the Nvc thread we are seeing cc also at the normal (turtle) pace :P so hopefully it wouldn't be an issue!
