Just got off the phone with NVC. I had to redial about 100 times to get through but the hold time was "short" at about 22 minutes.

They scanned my AOS checklist response on 07/22, "only" 2 business days after receiving it.

30 business days from 07/22 is 09/03... :clock:

Hi stacker is

I am buddies with you. My AOS checklist was also received on 18th and scanned on 22nd. I still have my IV but that 30 day period is up Aug 4th. Oh well let's hang in there together and keep busy.

You are almost done !! August is just around the corner !!

BTW..... Thanks again for the MILES. You are the BESTEST !!!

I can't tell you how HAPPY I am that I don't have to call NVC anymore!

And no problem! I'm so glad those miles went to good use! :-) I think that's why I got my interview bumped up 3 weeks - karma ;-)

Ok but maybe he didnt know what a "wiki" was....some ppl are new here and may not be familiar with all of the terminology or maybe just getting familiar with the lingo used in the post. And I too know how it feels to be new and not really knowing a lot. Sounds like u need to pump dem brakes a few times.

I actually referred the poster in question to the wiki and explained where it could be found. They still re-posted the same exact post again. Then others come in and assume that the poster is being ignored and chastises the group for ignoring them (which wasn't the case). The chastising is unnecessary and deviates from the purpose of this thread.

But, I notice towards the end of every month this thread gets its period and is a tidge cranky :-)

Lol I literally repeated the address word for word. If that's wrong, then I don't know what to write. I can imagine them sending mail and writing on the envelope "same as mailing address" then getting confused when it comes back as undeliverable

You should be fine, ketsuban. That's exactly what we did with no problems. Best of luck!

I have a question.

I found out this week after calling Singapore a Police that they have changed the rules and now they send the Police Certificate to our home and not NVC. Also I could apply without the Check list but rather just use the Barcode sheet. So this is what I have done.

My question is this.

Should I call NVC now before they review my IV docs hopefully next week and ask them if I can take the Certificate to the interview. I don't want a checklist for it which I am pretty sure I will get then call them then they say wait 30 days for them yo make the decision. Does this make sense.

Still have AOS checklist that was scanned 22nd July but if I can take Certificate to interview I could get a CC when the review check list,

Would love your thoughts somebody.

Breaking News: NVC gave checklist to my Friend for writing N/A in I-864 form.. She called and they said her to leave blank space as mentioned in Instructions.

They are making All Loved one Frustrated now.

I hope others don't get this kind checklists.

The lack of consisitency at the NVC is mindboggling. We got AOS checklist for leaving a question blank per their instructions as it didnt apply to us. We called them and they told us to write in N/A as leaving it blank sends the message that we merely skipped the question.

I already received a letter from our embassy that my petition was approved and is now eligible to apply for a Fiancee Visa. However, with no luck, there was a break in last night in our house, that letter was included when the man stole my bag. I need your help please. Is there a way where I can ask for a duplicate? Since I need that letter as part of the requirements to pass when I apply for Fiancee Visa. Where should I start? Should I be the one who will call our country's embassy? or my fiancee will call USCIS about it? By the way, I'm able to retrieve the tracking no. attached to that letter sent me since I copied it manually to one of my notes before for filing purposes. Thank you

this may help. I think there is a fee to get a copy of the NOA2. You are talking about your NOA2, right?
