Hi guys. i am new to this forum. nice to see you all. I filed under f2a category and recently got my citizenship. i am eagerly waiting for my documents to be scanned by nvc. do u guys know how long does it take to upgrade . i send em on july 18 th.. still no news from nvc..

Mean time I am preparing my AOS. (what a pain) . i didnt file tax last 3 three years(i live with my parents and i was a dependent under thr tax return) but this year i started my new job and make 40 k/ year. so do i still need a sponsor because i didnt file tax for last three? i have pay stubs from march to this date and employment letter.what i am planning to include in my AOS package is

PAY STUBS

EMPLOYMENT LETTER

LETTER STATING THAT I WAS A FULL TIME STUDENT FOR LAST 3 YEARS...what u guys think????

Thank you sweet heart, there was something in the water but when they let us know three days had passed and it really affected me and gave my dear mother and eye infection. What is this world coming to. but all is getting better slowing but better thank you so much.

Just got off with NVC and my AOS was scanned on July 23! So excited to get to start one set of "30 business day" waits! Of course my DS-261 has not been scanned/entered ;(

Hello, to the thread and the best thing to do is call NVC if they don't have it call uggg USCIS and check again if they sent it out and ask for the date again. Then ask for a supervisor see what they say. It does take a few days to put it into the system they are way backlogged at NVC so might take from ten to twenty days maybe even more. Hope this helps and hope someone corrects me if I'm wrong.

Hey everyone it is lovely to find this thread and just read about people who are just like me and my wife. Our 30 days from received are up and still nothing, I check everyday and just hope everything is perfect for us. This process really has taken it out of us emotionally. I just hope we get that interview soon, cannot wait to hold my wife again.

Please, please update your timeline and also add it to your signature which is on the right hand of the page when your in "My Profile or Settings" it will happen may of those to come and will help people on this tread when you need help advise you. Guys, I got a checklist I called NVC last night and the guy told me it is an error in the part 6 number 10, I should get the email today... I was so happy beacuse I finally completed my ds260 yesterday and then I had this bad new... they usually send the checklist email next day? please help

Ok, must be the AOS your talking about, send a corrected one out as soon as possible with the Bar Code you can re-print it out and you should be fine. Don't wait to long send it Monday morning as early as you can. Good luck since it's two teams that check the AOS and IV I would think they most likely would be reviewed a few days after the other if you send the corrected one right away. Good luck to you.

They posted the same thing three times, they were referred to the wiki, other people have already answered their question. At some point, they're clearly not listening and there's nothing else that can be done.

Called four times today..! No success the first three times. Wife broke down, finally got through to one. He said that the supervisor did authorise for the checklist to removed, but it goes back in the process to be removed.. (Make sense right?) Apparently it's a long queue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, he said he wasn't going to request it because there's no point in duplicating the workload- um yeah, for sure. He said the supervisor would e-mail us because they can't call overseas, even though we gave a US number! Gotta love it. Hope next week is the last week with this NVC mess and I will go missing in action for a bit!

OMG I'm so very sorry for this, please give our angel a big huge hug and kiss from me and I know she isn't in the mood for e-mailing anyone so let her know I do understand and to rest. Still praying.

Copies are fine in the AOS package for proof of US citizenship/residency. It's only civil documents in the IV package that need to be originals/certified copies.

I remember mine took a few hours. With that ridiculous computer system crash that's been going on, it would surprise me if CEAC was delayed as a result.

I'm not surprised the phone agents have no clue what's going on. I remember when the site's format changed, I had to explain the changes to the phone agent. It took about 5 minutes to convince her I was on the right website!

I would bet that they are told not to say anything about it... It would cause the phones to go crazy.

I called 3 times a day while I was at the NVC. If I were still there, I'd be calling 5 times. I don't trust anyone there. I think its disgusting that they haven't done anything to take care of the backlog. What good is a 5 month approval from the USCIS if you end up waiting 5 more months at the NVC and then another month to 6 weeks waiting for your interview???? I can't stand reading this thread anymore. Its really depressing. I did my 11 months at the USCIS and 2 months at the NVC. Thank god I missed the big backlog at the NVC. I don't think I could handle 2 backlogs..... waiting for the waiver is bad enough.

Breaking News: NVC gave checklist to my Friend for writing N/A in I-864 form.. She called and they said her to leave blank space as mentioned in Instructions.

They are making All Loved one Frustrated now.

I hope others don't get this kind checklists.

possibly due to hiring new people to handle the backlog???? Maybe???? because others have gotten checklist for the exact opposite. I put NA in every single blank space and mine was fine... I hope they get their rules straight...
