is mumbai your embassy? how long did it take you to receive CC email and interview email?

bdrew told me it took 7 days for cc email and 1-5 days after that for interview. Just want to double check if mumbai is your embassy.

i'm at delhi. took about 7 days for my CC email and then my interview email about a week after that

has anyone gotton a CC without seeing N/A on the ceas site? I remember reading for two people but not sure if it ever changed for them.

i'm still waiting for it to switch to N/A. hope i have a real CC.

I remember mine took a few hours. With that ridiculous computer system crash that's been going on, it would surprise me if CEAC was delayed as a result.

I'm not surprised the phone agents have no clue what's going on. I remember when the site's format changed, I had to explain the changes to the phone agent. It took about 5 minutes to convince her I was on the right website!

The NVC is nothing but a bunch of liars and soul crushers. If you want someone to ruin your life, just go through the US immigration system!

I talked to an NVC agent recently and asked to talk to a supervisor. No supervisor was available (according to him) so he took my phone number and told me that a supervisor was going to call me up the next day. Needless to say, nobody called me up so I had to call them up.

I'm getting tired of calling them up to "babysit" them all the time. Fortunately, I've just sent my IV package and filled out the DS-260 form so I can relax a little bit. All I have to do now is wait (again)!

Someone will call you for sure..just don't expect a call back in couple of days. I had requested a call back from supervisor and someone ended up calling me after 2 weeks . She was super nice lady but that doesn't do any good for me

He said that the supervisor did authorise for the checklist to removed, but it goes back in the process to be removed.. (Make sense right?) Apparently it's a long queue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, he said he wasn't going to request it because there's no point in duplicating the workload- um yeah, for sure. He said the supervisor would e-mail us because they can't call overseas, even though we gave a US number! Gotta love it. Hope next week is the last week with this NVC mess and I will go missing in action for a bit!

Tell me about it! I am a smart lady and have been very successful until US immigration. I have lost my job before I started it :-(

I applied in september PD 09/20/13 and was supposed to start working 07/14/14. I naively thought this would be enough time... evidently not :-(

I'm sorry. It will be done soon. We've been in this process since last May. Wish this nightmare would end! You have a job now though, which is good yeah?

Nope. NVC can't call overseas, plus that would cost them a fortune and probably reduce their staff even more. Yep, called four times in one day! Called twice on Monday, and once on Wednesday and Thursday.

My day will come, and so will yours!

I have missed You.... .....have been reading the thread whenever I get a free moment.

Adjusting to life in the US with the family. Food discovery of the week for them "Nachos"

In this digital age the most enjoyable time we had was the library.

We have a special place in our home for prayer and You are always in our

heart as we stand before God each morning to start the day.

Hahahaaa I had Nachos for the first time 7 years ago and wow I love them, rarely have them but wouldn't mind making it an every day thing.

I can only imagine how busy you all are just enjoying life and getting used to things and new discoveries. Great memories are being made.

Missed you to my dear friend but I know things thank God in heaven are different now as it should be. I want to thank you and your beautiful familyfor keeping me/us in your prayers it means the universe to me.
