Did they request you to send it electronically??? or did you just send it like that?

Our case is being processed electronically. Lisa and Octavio wanted to see my wife's email of April 30th as NVC database was missing these emails and had asked to forward them. They confirmed receipt to her while she was still on phone with them but could not help as the original email was missising. She was asked to resubmit I-864 to NVCElectronic which she did.

My wife called ( 5 minutes ago) NVC to find if her first email in their system of a June 11th has been reviewed. Mia from NVC told her that it has not been reviewed as of now. It is 30 business days for this document for review but I guess they are taking more than 30 business days to review. Mia told that NVC is working overtime and the documents are being reviewed till 8 PM on working days and also on Saturdays.

I also asked about the computer crash issue and she said eveything is fine and the systems are running fine. She acted as tho she didnt know about the computer crash.

Thanks all! Im still reading the posts from today, there was a lot of chatter :dancing:

They're called votes (and are liked to one's reputation that you can view on your profile), and people don't use them as they should (or what I think they should be used for anyways). It's not like a Facebook like where you like someone's status. It's more of a "hey, this person gave good advice" sort of deal. But whatever :P

:wow: I always wondered what that "vote this post up" was for. Ha ha. I never clicked on it because I didn't know what it did.:rofl: Now I am going to totally abuse it!

Someone had an interview in Pakistan yesterday. They were approved, but the member mentioned the Consukate officer kept commenting on how slow their computer system was going.

A member in Taiwan was told yesterday that the system was down and while approved, there was nothing they could do on their end to issue the visa at this time as a result. A member in Australia reported no issue from their interview yesterday (they were approved).

Oh wow! You mean we might get throught this whole process and then they can't even print the darn visa? I imagine the consulate will start saying "What 30 business days to get your passport returned with a visa". For goodness sake!

Hello i wanna discuss about something. Do you think we'll get checklisted if I only submitted 1 letter of employment and pay stubs from my first job only? I got my second job but I am new and just started this month so I can't get yet. Do you think it's necessary to send it if ever i can get my letter of employment from my other job because Im planning to send it with the cover letter. Im bothered because I dont want to get a checklist because of this. Do you think it's possible to send it before they'll scan our case so it's there and no need for them to issue us a checklist? Or maybe can we just call to nvc and fax to them a letter of explanation including a copy of my first pay stub. Because i've read not to send additional documents if NVC didn't ask for it because it will just complicate the case. Your answers will be a major relief to me and my wife. Thank you!

And btw just got off the phone with NVC and she just told me that they are already reviewing our case. Advised me to just send a letter of explanation and a copy of just one pay stub for them to verify that I am working. It's just a follow up application according to her and I don't need to wait anything, just send it before they make a decision so we'll be good?
