Honestly , they don't care about the emails. They have to attach them to your file. What they care about is if all the documents are there. If your email is explaining why the document is not there, you will probably get another checklist or if you are really lucky, they will give you a CC and you will have to bring the missing item to the interview. Did you request a supervisor review?

Thanks 'LoveMyTico'. Yes, there were two supervisor reviews on June 9 and June 10 for the missing email of April 30th. My wife attached new I-864 form in her email. She also attached the corrected I-864 form in her correspondence with these two supervisors. So, all three emails that she sent have corrected I-864 form.

I got my Case Number, IIN, and BIN number today, the guy named Jack was pretty cool on the phone, and I updated the e-Mails with him for correspondence in the future with NVC.

Received Green Card Today......I will post the back of the card tomorrow....

so many amazing security features it takes a while to edit all the personal data.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the VJ family.

I don't think so? If you have it, it's probably best to have it on hand, but while USCIS highly encourages people to pay the Extortion fee before POE, it's not mandatory. You just won't get your green card until you pay it.

Yes...Extortion Fee paid ahead of time....you do the elis.uscis.dhs.gov first...so many security steps on this site.....

You need your case number and your Alien Registration number to register. If you are traveling fairly quickly after

the visa is issued then get it done ASAP. It will make entry a breeze and expedite receiving your Green Card.

then go to pay.gov site. You can pay with credit or routing number.....takes a couple of days to process...

No receipt was required for paymment of fee during entry.

Can you guys clarify what this fee is? I've paid the AOS and IV fees. I didn't think there were any more fees besides paying for medical exam.

I just saw the word checklist at work.. *Shudders*

I laughed out loud. I'd probably be like, "WHAT?? WHERE?? WHYYYY???? Oh, uh, right, for the meeting. Gotcha."

Jeez... 37 business days since NVC received my DS-261 and still no invoice. No email either. And no one at NVC will help us! Not even a supervisor! So I guess next step is ask politicians to help and if they won't, then we stay at NVC forever

Actually, every time we've called they won't put us through to a supervisor because they're "very busy" and "you haven't waited long enough". So I guess in maybe five years we can speak to one.

Well #######, my next step was going to be calling and asking to speak directly to a supervisor. Haven't tried that yet. Tomorrow marks one week since they said it would be reviewed, so I'll give it a shot tomorrow and report back.
