That must be a false checklist for the IV package that have received but not opened or reviewed yet.

Do call NVC to find out if your AOS was accepted. Yes you have to be on hold for ever. Early evenings (from here in California) which is late evning in the East Coast, worked great for me.

From the date your AOS package was received at NVC it seems it must have been approved already. But you can only tell for sure by asking them.

Actually, your case should be completed any day now. So keep calling.

For the joint sponsor you're looking at, is her income currently above the poverty guidelines? What about the 3 previous years? Although NVC puts a lot of weight on current income, they do also look at past years, especially the most recent year. If this person has only recently started to work, then you may want to find a different joint sponsor.

She has been woking before, like mid-time during studies but I think she was under poverty guidelines but she filed her federal tax refund tho. She's done with studies since last year and started to work in October 2013 for this firm. She makes 40K a year for a household of... only her. lol

So she's above the poverty guidelines.

But as you say it may not be strong enough. And that makes me worried.

I remember when I paid my fees in early May I guessed I might get a July interview. Well here we are July and not even a case complete. Now I am guessing a late August, early September interview. Come on case complete, I hope I see you in a couple of weeks.

Anybody know what date/s they are working on now?

We both got our checklists scanned in on same day, 6/16.

The email that I received for the checklist cleary states: Please allow up to 20 business days for a response.

Thanks! I think my scan date was probably around the 20th (they received on the 16th). I haven't bothered to call to find out my scan date, as I figure that gives me a reason to call when I approach the 30 day mark (although now I might try after 20...) Either way, I hope I will have my case complete in about 2 1/2 weeks! Hoping for early September interview....

Yes, I think it is still possible. But I am preparing for Sept. since every step in this process has taken longer than planned. The average for Australia I have worked out is around 30 days from case complete to interview. So, if we get case complete mid/end of July I think it is fair to hope we might hope for mid/late August.

How do you work out the average time from CC to interview? Especially for my consulate, Malaysia? There is no one in there from Malaysia

Submitted DS 260 and I won't click on COMPLETED as long as that get approved, as i have strong experience in resubmitted of DS 261.. ;-)

Three weeks ago:

NVC working week (5 days) was enough to finish processing for (6 days) of cases and lists

Two weeks ago:

NVC working week (5 days) was enough to finish processing for

(6 days) of cases and lists: 13-16 & 19-20 May

One week ago:

NVC working week (5 days) was enough to finish processing for

(4 days) of cases and lists: 21-23 & 26 May

This week:

NVC working week (5 days) i believe they would finish processing

(4 days) of cases and lists hopefully: 27-30 May

My case was scanned on 2nd of June

I believe they will reach it early next week

All feel free to jump in with their personal time frames along this thought
