Although I think the new spreadsheet definitely offers more information, I have to just say that I prefer the old spreadsheet for being easier to read. Without as much scrolling, you can see at a glance the general trends and a summary of people's cases. It's awesome that you're willing to maintain a spreadsheet, and it's such a great resource for us, so thank you! But I kind of prefer the old one.

Saylin, could you create an expandable/collapsible section for the extra columns so that only those wishing to seek the extra information need to expand that section?

I was reading on here about some of the peoples experiences at the consulate, particularly Montreal. They mention of taking 2 passport pictures to the interview. I already sent 2 passport pics to the NVC with my IV package, so will these be needed as well? Also, when people mention of taking original marriage licenses etc, to the interview did they most likely do electronic processing? I mailed my originals in so don't have them.

Just called NVC, and my case is CC on the July 21st!!!!

AOS/IV packet sent on June 4th w/EP, scanned on June 20th .

No idea why I dont see my AOS bill change to N/A (I have been keep checking 10+ times per day).

Congratulations!! EP must be faster then since they are stuck on June 9-11 for regular mail!

Ok darling mine is going tomorrow and it will have NA NONE on all the fields that are not applicable. And they can have all the time in the world to review it NOT.

643-500= 143th date of the year which is May 23rd, that's the exact date NVC assigned my case number.

But the confusing part is how did you come about the 500 figure that is used to subtract the number? Am curious to know.

Got a checklist today for my AOS package that was scanned in June 10. They're requesting two things.

You must submit the following financial evidence:

[x] Proof of current employment (examples: a recently dated job letter, pay stub, or a copy of your business license).

[x] 2013 W-2 forms(s) or IRS Tax Transcript(s).

I live and work overseas, so we don't receive W-2 forms and the IRS tax transcripts weren't available at the time of sending the package (it takes the IRS over a month to send me the transcripts over here and they're not available online for whatever reason). I had explained this in a letter sent with the copied tax return but it seems that wasn't sufficient.

With the employment letter I had thought it was optional, but since I saw someone else got a checklist regarding this that lived overseas, I guess they're requiring it for people living and working overseas now. I had put my current income as $0 since it won't be continuing once I move back and am using assets and a joint sponsor to prove ability to support, but it seems they want more info on my foreign employer all the same.

Going to mail it all back in today. At least it should only take a week extra since they just received my IV documents.

We got checklist for a w-2 form as well. My wife worked in the UK and she included all the paystubs, the currency exchange rate, a note saying the UK doesn't provide any W-2 forms, only P60's which she included with the 2013 return. We can't even get a 2013 tax transcript due to an issue as well, and the IRS takes forever! We had to call a supervisor to explain this, which she said it would be removed.. but it still hasn't been removed. We can't produce any of those two forms! That's the hold up on the case. They don't have any real instructions on what to do for people overseas really, except domicile. I would call and speak to a supervisor. All the best.

Finally IV bill was available online yesterday and its been paid. I hope the bill is available online for everyone who got the bill email from NVC on Monday.
