Yea, cause I sent out my aos checklist response on 6/25, IV package 6/27, and filled out DS260 on 7/2. When I called two weeks ago to check if there was any updates for my AOS checklist. The operator told me she only could see 3 emails were received, one 6/25, one 6/27, and one on 7/2; but she couldn't see what was in the email cause only dates showed up on their system.

But for my original AOS package which I sent on 5/20, i'm not sure when they received it cause I didn't call them till 6/11, I called them on 6/11 cause I got an email saying my case # changed from GUZ to GZO, the operator told me case # has changed and AOS is under review. Then checklist issued 6/25.

Nope sorry. It's the number that's on the NVC website and in the Wiki.. before your long journey starts here too.. Make sure you read the Wiki which is post 1, and underneath Saylin's signature!

Um, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that is no where close to the current time frames. Once you submit the DS-261, it's taking about 30 business days for the IV bill to be invoiced. And the DS-260 only becomes available after the IV bill appears as PAID. As for the packages, it's taking 30 business days to review. So, yes, you'll be at NVC for a couple more months.

Hmm, so maybe for EP cases, I can do the "received" date as when the email was sent, since theoretically, they should receive the email within a few seconds. Then I can use the "scanned" date as whenever NVC says they actually received or opened it (aka entered it into their system).

D'oh, forgot all about that!!

As I mentioned above, I think I'll use the scanned date as when they "see" it as you put it. So, time frames for EP might be a little different in regards to packages than for those mailing it in...

And thanks for the update (grats on the expedite and swift interview!!). I'll put 7/9 as the case complete date since that's when NVC essentially completed the case (and sent it off).

If you're asking specifically about the 2014699 portion, that means the case number was assigned on July 18th, 2014.

Thanks for the input! Hmm, does anyone else feel this way? Don't want to put all this effort in if most people find the old layout better.

I feel the same way mostly because I just don't feel like doing a thing I'm so depressed that just thinking of doing one more thing makes me shudder and don't want to disappoint you. If I could I would just lay in bed forever.

But it says in the instructions pdf (page 2 'how to fill out form I-864 #3), that if an item is not applicable or the answer is "none", to leave the space blank.

So, is the pdf wrong?

They lie believe me you WILL get a checklist if you leave blank spaces. I think a few were lucky but not many.

I just spoke to the nice guy at NVC and I was told that we cannot pay IV fee yet.. we submitted DS261 on June5, but he said they received it on June16. So he said it has not been over 30business days.. I was like what the f*** but I talked to him nicely n said ok..but I was shocked you know..I hope this is just his mistake and I hope ww can pay IV fee this week..

You filled out the DS-261 on June 5th and your scan date is June 16th!? It's usually the next day!

However, some people get unlucky (screwed) and end up having a scan date that is 1-2 weeks later. Their buggy system needs to be fixed and updated.
