NVC Filers - July 2014

Its been over 7hours since I received the IV bill from NVC and still the fee is not yet online. Is this normal? How long do I have to wait for the bill to be availabe? Those that have paid the IV bill, how long did you wait to pay online after receiving the IV bill from NVC?

NVC operator wouldn't put me through a supervisor.. Said they "found" our "mail" for the checklist...!?!! I heard about this before with supervisor reviews, I'm pretty sure.. She said they need a bit more time to process our case.. and I simply said "You know it's 30 business days on Friday right?" She didn't give me an answer for that. -.-

I called Monday for my AOS scanned on June 16 Abby not in the greatest mood but nice just the same said nothing yet I said they didn't even look at it she said not yet! WHAT is going on this is torture first they messed up and I paid for it at USCIS then the super long wait there then this OMG I'll never see my husband again. I hate to say it since there are many in the same boat but WHY ME FOR PETE'S SAKE!

I called Monday for my AOS scanned on June 16 Abby not in the greatest mood but nice just the same said nothing yet I said they didn't even look at it she said not yet! WHAT is going on this is torture first they messed up and I paid for it at USCIS then the super long wait there then this OMG I'll never see my husband again. I hate to say it since there are many in the same boat but WHY ME FOR PETE'S SAKE!

So sorry that you have to stay so long at USCIS, this process is really a long and tough process, enough to drive one crazy. Don't worry my dearest friend, all this will soon be over and very soon you'll be with your husband. You are in my prayers.

hey i paid the aos and iv fees.

now for iv package the saylin's wiki says i have to put PCC in it.

but mumbai consulate wonder for PCC on the interview.

now what to do

and if its compulsary then when to appy for pcc now or wait for my aos bill says paid?

PCC is not required at NVC for mumbai embassy. You dont have to send it to NVC. I'd suggest you start the process to get PCC because it takes a while to get in India.

You'll have to take PCC to the interview.

My wife called the NVC and actually got an operator who wasn't messing her about. Her name was Karson. She explained to her what happened, all the dates we spoke to the supervisors, what other agents said etc.. It's been 26 business days now. She got in contact with supervisor Sylvia and she said she didn't know anything about what was going on but, she was going to get in contact with the DR (document review) department to see what is bloody taking them so long. She said if we had any other questions to contact her and ask for her directly, and she would e-mail us asap when she finds out anything and gets it done. Fingers-crossed that our waiting will be done this week!!!

Oh thank God I hear she is good and get's things done. I have everything crossed even my eyes and I fell down.

- PCC is compulsory( as mention on saylin's wiki, which is correct). It is better you apply ASAP, for me it took 16 days to get PCC (depend on location).

I guess you will get 2 copies of your PCC. 1 of them you need to include it with IV package. 2nd copie you can keep it for Consulate for interview.

that's incorrect. You dont have to send PCC to NVC if your embassy is mumbai

Financial aid won't be an issue. As long as your income is over the poverty line.

I would say military records, but looking on the reciprocity page for the DR, those are unavailable, so it sounds like nothing is needed. But you may want to contact NVC and ask them directly.

July 29th is our 30th business day since July 4th was a holiday.

Please post something once you hear anything from NVC! I'll do the same!

I finally sent the IV package! Fingers crossed that I won't get a checklist.

I'll fill out the DS-260 form next; then, I can finally relax! Maybe enjoy the endless (feels like) summer?

Wait! Since my AOS scan date is June 16, NVC will review my AOS package this week or next week.

OK! I'll get to relax after NVC has reviewed my AOS package assuming I don't get a checklist. Fingers crossed!

My Checklist respond for AOS is enter into NVC system on June 11 but it is not reviewed yet. I don't think they are working on it to our expectation and probably we may need to wait a little more.

Hey, AustinCanda, did you do EP with your case or just regular mail?

I tried to ask Rep on the phone about the different on review the EP and non-EP, but they didnt say a word ...

A VJer did it with EP (AOS/IV sent on June 3rd, one day ahead of me), and he got P4 (email with interview date) last week...

NVC just make no sense....
