Looks like they are speeding up! I got my IIN and NVC case #'s on the 27th, 16 days after arrival at the NVC.

Just called NVC last night. 9PM Manila time. I was surprised that I had no busy signal and was on hold for only 15 minutes. Our IV packet was scanned last June 26, 2014. I will just wait for my hubby to send his AOS packet. Hopefully before the 4th of July he will be able to send it :(

Thanks and NO, I DON'T KNOW ANYONE AT NVC....lol :rofl::rofl: I wish I knew someone there, I was going for my 4 month here. I could not believe when my AOS changed to NA, I was expecting a CC by the end of July. So they reviewed my email fast, I am so happy and from now on I will celebrate Canada day differently!

a ton of pressure was released actually ,

coz i want to here again and reconfirm that i have a case complete

i called nvc this evening (here in the philippines), an d i think im one of the early birds that called. unfortunately JOYLESS JOY got my call and her voice was kinda she's still in bed. told me i have a CHECKLIST but no need to send it to NVC. i asked her - is my case complete and she just answered as if she still dreaming "'i think so'" :girlwerewolf2xn:

enough of the CHECKLIST PLS = im so traumatise with this word!!!!

so i was able to call again, thanks god for an awake operator - told me i know your waiting for this for a long time, your case is complete and will email you instructions regarding your interview...blah blah blah.... i ask if theres any checklist - none of what i can see. but she can't give me any info if there still scheduling august interview.

we'll atleast a goodnyt for me and my kids !!!

Oh i know how that feels! I've been sooo tempted to hibernate myself, but then I'm too jittery to stay hibernated for too long. So here I am... checking and rechecking every day.

I think Joy's last name really is Less or Killer. So she's really Joy Less or Joy Killer. That would be more appropriate for her. I myself have not had the 'privilege' of speaking with her, thank God!

Anyway so glad that you finally have the much coveted Case Complete. Things will only get better from now. All the best!

:rofl::rofl: I sent them a bad day hair photo (pulling my hair out) after the paralegal didn't sent my marriage certificate. You can imagine how I looked :rofl::rofl::rofl:NVC are compassionate after all, they felt sorry for me.

I am trying extremely hard to avoid getting a checklist. Can we talk about which parts are okay to leave blank on the I-864? For instance part 1. Is pretty much multiple choice so when I answer with which answer applies to my husband can I leave the other blank or should we put "n/" or "none"?

I would put N/A or NONE as needed on any blank space. In part 1, mark the checkbox applicable to you and answer the question. For the other options, leave the checkboxes blank but put N/A on the answer fields.

Don't be happy too soon! I'm guessing the EP people have a different timeline from us regular mail peeps... We gotta wait for them to go through each excruciating day... packet by packet... document by document... line by line... word by word... letter by letter... ARGHHHH!

It's no longer a big deal to get a checklist on the AOS package since it now takes 30 days to pay the IV fee. That's one "positive" thing about not being able to pay the IV fee for 30 days. :wacko:

If you get a checklist, you can send your checklist document and IV package at the same time. :ph34r:

Of course, it's better not to receive a checklist on the AOS package, but my point is it won't delay your application process that much assuming you send your AOS package as soon as you can pay the fee. :)
