thanks! i submitted my second expedite request on 7/11/14. The reason for expedite is that my husband's visa in Russia expires Sept 1st.

Congrats . We put an expedite in last Thursday.. we'll see how that goes!

Shoooot, bdrew and I were talking about reviewing people's documents before sending them off to USCIS or NVC as an Immigration Counseling Service instead of a lawyer, and we could be bankin' by charging even less than half of what the base charge is! haha. So we review them before we send them to you. Deal?

Do it! With your knowledge about even the tiniest details, there'd be way less checklists or RFEs. Might need a little more staff than just little ol' you, though! haha.

The NVC would be against that.. Saylin would take away their job security with less checklists being sent out..

Well they should've thought about that if the efficiency of say, 5 people, can be be accomplished by one!

hey i paid the aos and iv fees.

now for iv package the saylin's wiki says i have to put PCC in it.

but mumbai consulate wonder for PCC on the interview.

now what to do

and if its compulsary then when to appy for pcc now or wait for my aos bill says paid?

i was in the same situation a while back....people of this site told me its not necessary to send PCC so i send all my documents without it....in the end i got a checklist for it however wen i called them they said the checklist is only to prompt you to get a PCC for the interview not to send one to NVC so up to you what you want to do

depending on where you live i would have your spouse go on the indian passport seva website fill out the paperwork and get an appointment... our appointment itself was a month out

Give it a few hours, it won't be another 30 business days

Well, if I got paid enough to quit my full-time job, I would think I'd have more than enough time to review/fill out forms

I am sorry but interview is pretty far right now. Ur AOS will be reviewed in 30 business days (45 days including weekends). And u will be invoiced ur IV bill after 30 business days when u submit ds261. Then 30 biz days again for reviewing IV package. Then if hopefully No checklist then case complete and wait for interview the date of which depends on ur local embassy. Usually 4 to 6 weeks. So u r basically looking at 45 plus 45 plus 45 days without checklist. 4.5 months plus minus.
