:o You made a copy of a copy? It's like copy-ception (if you haven't watched the movie Inception, go watch it :P)

And I'm thinking about adding a few pages to the beginning of my request form, specifically asking if Armenia is listed as consulate (since this is the reason like 75% of people don't get added) and if they answer yes, they can't continue. Same goes for their timeline being up to date (I often see people updating that their case is complete yet have the NOA2 as the last date on their timeline -_-). I can definitely add in a 'have you read the wiki' page

:rofl::rofl:

Yes I made a photocopy of the photocopy, and have it scanned to make another copy if I need to! ;) Yes! That sounds like a brilliant idea with the Armenia as consulate and cannot proceed...

Haha, thanks for the offer, but no one besides myself will ever work on the spreadsheet :P

Hmm, that is a good point. Another time tick to track

I should make it a requirement that one has to call NVC to get all these dates, otherwise you won't be allowed on my spreadsheet :jest:

OMG you could add a pop quiz to the form! If someone isn't added to the spreadsheet it's because they didn't read the wiki!

As the person who ran the September I-130 transfer spreadsheet I can add a personal anecdote that I told everyone in that thread about a million times to add a timeline as they won't get added to your pretty spreadsheet if they don't (I stopped adding people to mine unless they had a timeline in an effort to make your life an ounce easier)!

My September peeps are awesome sauce, btw :-D

It'll definitely help reduce the frustration when I go through the adds/updates since there's always someone that doesn't follow the instructions :bonk:

To be honest, I'm glad you put "DO NOT INCLUDE IF IT'S ALREADY ON THE SPREADSHEET (UNLESS IT'S WRONG AND YOU NEED TO UPDATE IT)" because I was guilty of doing that once or twice before that message ...

And finally!!! I just received my IV bill now, just as the supervisor hasd promised us on Friday that he will unlock it today or tomorrow. Am so happy, what a great relief. I felt like I had a cold water poured on me when I saw the email from nvc.

Haha, maybe I should start giving certificates to people who actually fill out my form PERFECTLY! Only the top of the top will get it ;)

To be honest, I'm glad you put "DO NOT INCLUDE IF IT'S ALREADY ON THE SPREADSHEET (UNLESS IT'S WRONG AND YOU NEED TO UPDATE IT)" because I was guilty of doing that once or twice before that message ...

Yeah, after I saw it being repeated again and again (not by you specifically, but in general), thought it was best to add a note about it. At least you noticed it and started following it ;) I still have people who submit ALL dates (among other things that people do wrong) :bonk:

hahaha, it was a pain to fill it all out again and having to remember all the dates, so I'm glad I saw that note and only filled out one thing per update (not including the required fields). It was weird to not obsessively check the spreadsheet once we got a CC.

In a word: Insurance.

In the UK, the cert application is 45GBP and requires you to get your mother's cousin's neighbor's plumber's barrister [slight exaggeration] to sign your application. One additional certificate costs 6 quid. I say just get it in case NVC or someone else [my f'ing attorney for example] loses a copy along the way.

Winner!! No reason not to get the extra. THANKS!!

I am the USC Petitioner. My wonderful wife Laura is from Scotland.

[...]

Yeah, not only is it easier for me to see the update, but it's also easier to fill the form in with just the updates and the required NOA2 date (so I can you on the spreadsheet [if one actually gives me the proper NOA2 date]).
