It says civil documents of the applicant, after receiving those they will review his immigrant visa application, but we already sent them all the civil documents.

N i tried to add the info to a timeline but i didnt know where n how to make that timeline.sorry for being dumb ?

Sounds like a false checklist to me. If you sent your AOS and IV invoices on different days, they review them in the order received, so if the AOS was sent it first, they review it first. They can see that more documents are waiting to be reviewed but they won't look at what they are so instead they send a checklist asking you to send them in. If you already did then you've completed all the actions on the checklist already, hence the false checklist.

You should go to your settings and add a signature. From here you can add in a timeline which will show on every post.

Woop! Congratulations!!!

I was wondering the same, as I've seen a few people have checklists "skipped over" and advised to take docs direct to the embassy.

That's because without you as our Immigration Fairy/Yoda/R2-D2 we'd be going around in circles during this process! You are an absolute star Saylin for all the help, support and advice you give.

Thanks, maybe is a little bit different after all when you do EP. They didn't advised me to take any documents to consulate, I sent the missing document June 19 by email. I was very surprise with CC , I was expecting CC at the end of July. It was a great surprise!

Its a little tricky, go to your profile. You won't see signature. Pressed edit profile than you will see signature and simply add the info you want to add.

If you send tax transcripts than you don't have to send tax returns. For 2013 if you don't have tax transcripts yet than you should send tax return. This is what I did. You download tax transcripts from IRS website right away.

Hello everyone,

I cant remember all the dates but the ones i can remember, ill mention them below

Priority date: June 6 2013

NAO2: dec 19 2013

case number assigned: april 2014

AOS package received at NVC: May 23 2014

DS 260 submitted online: June 10 2014

IV package received at NVC: june 11 2014

My question is that i have received an email from NVC saying that they have reviewed our case and we need to them documents supporting DS260. But we have already sent them the documents. Is it a false checklist? If it is, then what do i need to do about it? Do i have to call them?

Secondly, i have not received any checklist regarding our AOS package, does that mean it was approved? I only called NVC once to get our case number n i had to wait for more than hour over the phone, so being hesitant to call them again.

Any help will be appreciated

Thank you

That must be a false checklist for the IV package that have received but not opened or reviewed yet.

Do call NVC to find out if your AOS was accepted. Yes you have to be on hold for ever. Early evenings (from here in California) which is late evning in the East Coast, worked great for me.

From the date your AOS package was received at NVC it seems it must have been approved already. But you can only tell for sure by asking them.

Actually, your case should be completed any day now. So keep calling.

I am trying extremely hard to avoid getting a checklist. Can we talk about which parts are okay to leave blank on the I-864? For instance part 1. Is pretty much multiple choice so when I answer with which answer applies to my husband can I leave the other blank or should we put "n/" or "none"?

Wow, that is awesome! What kind of notes did ya add?

Just things specific to our case - Senegal-specific document info, name and address of doctor for the medical, contact info for our guy who does translations. I was really overwhelmed to start with, so getting everything all together in one place helped immensely. Thank you for all your hard work Saylin! Couldn't have done it without you!

Thanks. I'll ask him to get his transcript online. Will he get it right away after making an account or does he need to wait a couple of days to have it? Thanks

If his transcript is ready, then he will be able to download it right away in PDF format from the IRS website.

Best wishes purpleblush!

You are better than many lawyers! When I asked my lawyer to give me the list of what documents I need to prepare for NVC, he had no list. I guess he didn't wanted to refer me to Saylin's wiki for personal pride :P

 You should forward him a copy of it for his future clients :P Wait, don't do that, I'd want some kind of commission if so

[...]

That's because without you as our Immigration Fairy/Yoda/R2-D2 we'd be going around in circles during this process! You are an absolute star Saylin for all the help, support and advice you give.

D'aww :luv:

I hope my timeline shows now

Thank you :) trying my best to add that timeline..

Looks like your timeline has been created, but you're missing like 90% of the dates. Please go back in and add everything!

Just things specific to our case - Senegal-specific document info, name and address of doctor for the medical, contact info for our guy who does translations. I was really overwhelmed to start with, so getting everything all together in one place helped immensely. Thank you for all your hard work Saylin! Couldn't have done it without you!

Glad you took down all those notes  A true preparer! :star:

[..]

I know the feeling, my job would be so much better without those pesky customers calling all the time!

Thankfully, we rotate phone shifts at my job. Today just ended up being mine. My first one all alone too (I've had a trainer previously listening in)
