Called NVC, agent Carl informed me that my AOS Checklist was generated on July 27th. Hoping it's a false checklist. Haven't recieved the email yet, anyone know roughly how long it takes? (and please don't tell me 30 business day LOL)

so sorry to hear about the checklist! When I called and they told me about mine, I got the email later that day, so hopefully it should be soon. In my case, they definitely had the information on what the checklist was for, even read our which section of the form needed to be changed and, when asked about, how to do it. I guess you could call back and try to get more information or wait for the email and then call back to confirm with them exactly what the checklist means and what they need. I called back after receiving the email to do exactly this and it was helpful and made me feel more confident in what I was sending.

Good luck, and just know that it will end! I know how frustrating it can be but we got through our checklists, now have case complete, and are waiting for an interview. You'll get there too! :luv:

When people say their AOS fee changes to "N/A" on the portal, is that the "Fee Payment" or the "DS-260" part of the CEAC portal?

Literally the AOS fee changes from PAID to N/A.

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

That sounds like the DS-260 section there: https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

I paid the fees on the "Fee Payment" portal (https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx) so I wasn't sure which of the two to check... I've been checking 4 times a day and have grown tired of logging in to both every time.

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

I am newer than most of you to the NVC phase. I just received my case number on the 24th and now I am trying to get my IIN number because Ariel wouldn't give it to me last week. lol. Good Luck to all of you!

Can't believe am still stuck at NVC. Was in May & June NVC filler, now am at July NVC filler again. Common NVC get yourself busy and send me my IV bill, am sick & tired of been away from my husband.

just called to NVC and got my Case no. IIN No and BIN.

my case was reached to NVC on June 11th 2014.

Congrats on reaching the NVC phase! I am wondering, have you actually been able to log in or pay anything? I received my NOA2 on May 20th and haven' heard anything from NVC yet. I called last week and got my case # and IIN # from NVC. The operator gave me both, and said they had been assigned on June 20th. He then told me that he could give me the #'s but I wouldn't actually be able to do anything until I got the email from NVC, which I have (inexplicably) not received yet. And, indeed, even though I have the numbers, I can't do anything on the on-line portal...

I just ask, because it seems like most other people have been able to move forward a soon as an operator gave them their #s. Thanks in advance and best of luck to all!!
