Seriously I don't think we mind these posts! I actually feel sad when I come to read the thread and it's dead! So better to have some life on it even it's just chit chat. If u don't like the post just skip it. It's not hard to tell difference from personal post and posts regarding Nvc at a glance. I do it all the time! But everybody is really frustrated here and we understand each other real well, sometimes better than our family! So if someone feels better when they whine or chat here let it be.

I almost posted a response extremely similar to this. We already get told every day by NVC and our bosses and whoever else what we can and can't do..... this is a public forum and we're not saying anything offensive. If you want to learn, then ask a question, and somebody will answer it for you. If you don't like what you're reading, go do something else.

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the NVC stage, I'm a Dec2013 filer my husband is the USC and Im the aussie applicant i have paid the AOS bill and currently gathering all our evidence to send it. I tried to pay the IV fee as well but it wont let me (I think from what ive read you have to wait til after they put in the DS-261- choice of agent info- is that correct?)

Also i have one more question as I tried asking NVC when i rang to change our address but the lady wasnt helpful at all, My husband is a permanent resident in Australia and has lived here for 6 years so I know we need a joint sponsor who will be me husbands brother but my question is do we send my husbands AOS first and wait for them to say we need a joint sponsor (which we already know) or are we able to send it all together?

Another fellow Aussie here there are a few of us on this thread.

Unfortunately I cannot help you with your question as my husband who was also a permanent resident here for 7 years went back last here to start a new job so we didn't need a joint sponsor as he is living in the US right now with an employer.

The children and myself who are both US citizens, ages 13 and 15 have been waiting here now for almost 11 months but we are moving forward slowly. Hope to be back in upstate New York within the next few months. We used to live there but my Grenn Card expired and I had to reapply for a new one!

Look forward to seeing you progress. NVC is a bit slow at the moment.

This is a fantastic group who are very supportive of each other.

I do suggest you read Saylins notes at the beginning of the thread as they are very helpful.

Hahaha your too funny and your witty also. Yes the journey is long but some longer than others and I'm tired and want it to end but for me it will take more time. Plus my husband is a serial procrastinator so the IV took a while to fill out.

Hello boys and girls, I come here to say thank you to all of you specially Saylin, for all the help and support.

My interview was on the 17th of July (here is the review http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/view-dos-cis-reviews.php?entry=14870 ) at Paris - I GOT APPROVED!

And on the 18th CEAC showed the Visa as Issued.

I waited 458 days and it was worth it, long tedious but now it is done!

Take a copy anyway with original signatures. They are supposed to send the AOS paperwork to the consulate ahead of the interview, but mistakes happen and stuff ends up not making it into the package. At least if you have it there with you on the day, you won't walk away with a 221g and a heavy heart.

I will only say this once, if you don't like what your reading then stop reading it. Don't come and tell us what we can and can not post. There are a lot of things I don't like but it's not my business and people have the right to express how they feel when they feel it. End of comment!

Soloenta you just said the right thing. People should feel free to express their mind. I am so addicted to this forum that am always so eager to read everyone's comment, vent, complain, advise, good news, jokes and chat. People learn from it one way or the other, most especially me. Ok.i need help.what shud i put inthe cover letter for the aos packet.i recieved a barcode after filling ds 261.shud i put the whole page or just the barcode for cover letter.plz help.it will be even more helpfull if nyone can attach a sample.
