I know, it's beyond frustrating. We haven't heard anything since they made a note to supervisor either.

Finally received the IV bill today! Just about to pay it. For anyone who was wondering, called on business day 30 to get a supervisor to look at our case on July 15, and received bill 3 days later. Anyone who is past 30 days, call and escalate!

The most recent CCs have a scan date of June 6, That's exactly 30 business days, so I guess they are keeping their word. Expect 30 business days.

But in the website they mentioned that for checklist to review it is max 20 business days.... :crying::crying:

Hello everyone! I received a notice today that the NVC has approved my expedite. I sent in the email to the wrong email address 2 weeks ago. I resubmitted the request to the proper email address (only after I saw Saylin post the correct email address in this group) 3 days ago and this morning I received the notice that it was approved! I am shocked!

Hey everyone,

I just got a false checklist email from NVC saying they reviewed my DS-260 and they are awaiting my IV package. Which of course was sent a while ago. Any idea on timeframe for them to review the rest of my stuff?

My docs were scanned on June 6th.. so they waited right for the 30 business days to even start to look at our stuff.

6 Mar 2013 -- I130 transferred to Orlando local field office (which started the whole nightmare)

Mar 2013 to October 2013 no one would tell us where our case was or what was happening. I suspected the whole time it was just sitting in a corner somewhere in the Orlando field office. I was pretty much right.

October 2013 - get congressman involved. Congressman asks USCIS repeatedly about our case but they won't even tell them anything.

31 Jan 2014- finally get NOA2!!!! (we think the nightmare is over!)

Our case was not sent from the Orlando field office as it should have been. The nightmare continues. We kept calling NVC and asking if they received our case, and they always said "NO" and that we had to wait 90 business days for it to be received. We called USCIS during this time and they kept telling us it had been sent. After the 90 days of agonizing frustration, NVC then started telling us we had to wait 120 business days. I got our congressman involved again, and they told the congressman it was sitting at the Orlando office this whole time (just as I thought it was!).

16 May 2014 -- NVC case number assigned
24 May 2014 -- AoS and IV bills paid

28 May 2014 -- Sent AoS and IV Packages

6 June 2014 -- documents scanned

18 July 2014 -- false checklist from NVC

21 July 2014 -- Case complete

28 July 2014 -- receive case complete email from NV

30 July 2014 -- interview booked! September 11 here I come!

Quite happy to share that we got a CC today.

Timing for those doing EP: Sent AOS checklist response on June 5. CC after 31 business days.

Best wishes to everyone else still making their way through NVC. May your lucky day come soon!

if you refer to your checklist it will either say 20 or 30 business days....newer checklist say 30

Case received by NVC: April 7, 2014

Case #: May 5, 2014

AOS fee: paid May 9th,

DS 261: May 9th

AOS fee PAID: May 12th

AOS send: May 13th via overnight

AOS received per FedEx: May 16th

AOS received per NVC: May 20th

IV Fee invoiced/ paid: May 25

IV form received per FedEx: May 30

IV form received per NVC: June 3

AOS accepted: June 19

Checklist for original marriage cert: july 10th

Finally received the IV bill today! Just about to pay it. For anyone who was wondering, called on business day 30 to get a supervisor to look at our case on July 15, and received bill 3 days later. Anyone who is past 30 days, call and escalate!

They won't let us escalate no matter who we speak to :P so we're just going to wait it out.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

 

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

 

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Same here...after 34 business days...I have receive IV invoice e-mail. You may want call NVC and ask to put a note for supervisor as it passed 30 business days. The gentleman that I spoke to at NVC couple of days back...says beyond 30 business is still normal time frame given the work load they have. At that point I was just shocked and don't know what else to say. At least the invoice showed up and I hope you get it soon.

I Will call tonight and escalate. But the rate at which NVC is going, maybe they will start telling us 35 business days now instead of their usual 30days quote.

Thank you :) I have basically been running both households with my income since December 2013. The story is more in depth than that but that is the main point. I doubted they would approve my situation but I am grateful that they did. If you have an issue ask for the expedite! All they can do is say no.
