Hi Saylin! May I make a suggestion?

I was thinking (since it happened to several users and many people have asked about this), what if you add to the wiki that when the AOS fee changes to N/A, it probably means that the case was completed, since users have confirmed a CC soon after the change?

And remind that everyone's affidavit of support and civil documents appear as N/A since the beginning

Or maybe add it to post 1 if you don't want to change the wiki

you should've had CC around June 7th!! when was the AOS packet scanned? Maybe you can talk to a supervisor and see whats up? You are almost closing in on 2 months from when you sent your last documents.

It does seem like a long time to me (the IV packet was approved in 3 weeks.) But every time we call (and same again this morning) they just say "It says it's under review. Nothing more than that. Keep waiting until you receive a checklist or instructions."

ask to speak to a supervisor or tier 2 and ask for an explanation why it has taken 2 months when their processing time is 30 days.

That's a good news. I'll feel a bit relax once my AOS is accepted because most people get checklist a lot when it comes to AOS: just my personal opinion:

My petitioner can't be the sponsor (=student with no job) but we have a co-sponsor. The fact is that she has started to work 10 months ago as secretary and clerical work for a tax firm, that's her first real job.

Is it long enough? Since she has to have filed a Federal tax return for each of the three most recent tax years as ask at the question 13 in the part 6 of the Affidavit of support.

For the joint sponsor you're looking at, is her income currently above the poverty guidelines? What about the 3 previous years? Although NVC puts a lot of weight on current income, they do also look at past years, especially the most recent year. If this person has only recently started to work, then you may want to find a different joint sponsor.

Hello everyone,

I cant remember all the dates but the ones i can remember, ill mention them below

Priority date: June 6 2013

NAO2: dec 19 2013

case number assigned: april 2014

AOS package received at NVC: May 23 2014

DS 260 submitted online: June 10 2014

IV package received at NVC: june 11 2014

My question is that i have received an email from NVC saying that they have reviewed our case and we need to them documents supporting DS260. But we have already sent them the documents. Is it a false checklist? If it is, then what do i need to do about it? Do i have to call them?

Secondly, i have not received any checklist regarding our AOS package, does that mean it was approved? I only called NVC once to get our case number n i had to wait for more than hour over the phone, so being hesitant to call them again.

Any help will be appreciated
