Gave up running long time ago. a) it's too hard on my middle-aged joints, b) it hovers around 120 degree for the entire summer here, and c) traffic around here treats pedestrians/joggers/cyclists worse than Soloenta treats bugs lately. Besides, all the above allow me to string readily available and malleable excuses to no end. Managed an entire decade without exercising this way. That's why I switched to home fitness HIIT videos.

I see you're a June 6 scanner. Hopefully today (Friday) is your day.

Hello, again everyone! Just checking in after my weekly call to NVC and it appears that they're more or less randomly changing dates on "mail received". Last week when I called they said they had mail logged in on june 10th or 11th and the 25th. Now they say that they have mail received on june 24th and July 4th. Neither of the dates is the same as before... Just awesome.

On the plus side, I had a bit of a health scare this past couple of weeks but it turned out to be nothing. So that's a gigantic relief! I had visions of having gone through all of this and then having to quit the process while I had surgery or treatment in Canada.

Thank goodness the health scare turned out to be nothing. I have some fears about leaving the comfort of great free public health care in Australia. I hope we continue to have good health or at least find good insurance. One of my daughters is on a waiting list for a surgery here and I really hope we can get it done before we leave, as it will be much more expensive in the States!

When I talked with NVc 2 days ago, they said they "received something from me by mail" July 11.

This was the AOS package I sent, but, she didn't have it down as AOS. She said, "we have something by mail from you scanned in, but I don't know what it is."

Does this mean I still do NOT have an official AOS scan date since their system wasn't identifying it?

I don't think the operators can see what was received (or they just don't tell us). They will say the date the mail was scanned, but not what it was.

At this point I think any movement is exercise All i want to do lately is bury my face in my pillow and cry! But you guys really crack me up... Soloenta especially. So it makes this all just a tiny bit more bearable. Yup I'm a June 6 filer. Been checking CEAC every few minutes. AOS still says PAID though I'm hoping I get an early interview since Malaysian consulate is quite low volume.

We got IV fee bill via e-mail 9 hrs ago but unable to pay online as its showing 0$.Can anyone help?

Priority date 1st May 2013

USCIS approval date:25th April 2014

DS-261 submitted : 13th June 2014

AOS bill received and paid : 13th June 2014

AOS package sent : 20th June 2014

IV fee bill received : 18th july 2014

Finally was able to get access to the ds-261!!! Yay! Filled 'em out, now waiting to be invoiced for AOS!! So happy and excited for progress :-).

DO NOT CLICK ON IT AGAIN. From the last time you clicked on it, you have to wait 30 business days to receive the IV fee invoice. If it says "Completed" on the website, they have received it and you do not have to do anything else.

My husbands case was approved last year in november of 2013. I want to know do I have to call NVC in November to get an extension for this case? because I will be sending them the I-186 forum by jan of next year 2015. Or do I just call NVC and let them know that I will be sending them all the docs for I-186 in JAN 2015?

You have to call and check in with NVC within a year of them receiving your case, or I believe you have to resubmit all the forms and fees and everything. I would call them sometime in the next month to two months to see what needs to be done next and just update them.

I was able to as well! I didn't think that would happen after business hours but I just got home from a movie and it was available! The AOS fee wasn't but the phrase after I logged in changed from "you have attempted..." to "this case is in the process of termination." Woohoo!!!

Hope the fun continues!

oh man, it's things like this that keep me laughing. Only in NVC land would "termination" be a fabulous thing, and a cause for celebration. You guys do realize that we must sound like a bunch of nut jobs to anyone who stumbles upon this forum and isn't intimately familiar with the process....

Congrats on the termination message, by the way. Moving right along! lol
