Hi everyone, I wanted to know what to show in i864? Do i have to show certain limitation in my bank accounts?

You just need to show you make over the poverty line or you have the certain amount of assets to support the applicant. My last scan date is june 9 ( and awaiting CC as well) I called this morning and was given the standard 30 buisness day speech. Its been 26 buisness days. They dont have very much time until I go bezerk. Mentally I am prepared to handle the 30 buisness days but if they start saying longer I may lose it.

I've been keeping an eye on how many business days it's been taking.. Right now it seems to be taking 27-30 business days for them to process packages. Looks like different departments are stuck on that week, but doing different scan dates. Hope you hear something today!

I'm working under the assumption they will not speed up their processing. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it took them 40 business days to review my checklist response after they scan it in.

I hope jsumner gets CC and sails to an early September interview! My wife's interview is so far out at this point that the date feels like a distant concern. I don't think we're going to make the October cut off so we're probably looking at November earliest. It seems crazy when just 2 weeks ago we were holding onto a chance at an early August interview!

I look back to the day, almost 4 months ago, when I escaped USCIS/Nebraska full of hope for a speedy journey through NVC... Ah to be young and naive again!

They're going to be in a mess if they don't speed up their process.(They already are!) Those who didn't have to go through the USCIS backlog, now have to go through the backlog at NVC! Thanks mate, I hope we do get a September interview. Me and my wife are thinking of travelling around Europe before we leave. I'm sure you will get an interview . My fingers are crossed for you!

I think you have a good chance at an October interview!

If your lawyers overnighted your AOS checklist response on 07/14, it would have hit the NVC mailroom on 07/15. Add 4 business days for scanning and 30 business days for review, you looking at CC around 09/01 which should be in time for an October interview.

Your IV should be reviewed by early August.

Our package is at JFK at the moment. It never left Australia until 15th. Still, it is on its way. Would love to think of a CC by early September. I think I will get check listed for Police Certificates from Hong Kong and Singapore but I couldn't get those until I had checklist from NVC. A catch 22 situation. I am hoping they will CC and I can get Certificates sent to Consulate in Sydney for interview. I have heard they do that.

Oh well, will wait and see.

Can anyonne plz tell me.how long it takes to put the ds 261 in the system.i filled it 3 days ago.still it says completed.i guess it should say submitted right?

They are already in a mess. A few years ago someone could effectively zip through NVC in a little over a month. These days it takes that long just to get a case number. I see few signs of intelligent and effective leadership at NVC. I actually feel a little sorry for the workers who handle and review our cases. I bet they are as disillusioned as us. Regardless, I don't think NVC has the ability to manage itself out of this mess. A more likely scenario is that their backlog will continue to grow until USCIS clears theirs.

It will always show as completed on the system and don't ever click on it again. You can call NVC to know the status of your DS-261 to know the date it showed on their own system as received date, then you wait for 30business days to get IV bill. I filled mine on June 5th and when I called NVC, I was told it showed on their own system as completed on June 5th {same date that I submitted} Today is 29business day that I submitted my DS-261, I hope I get my IV today or tomorrow.

Just called to see if AOS packet was scanned into the system rep at NVC stated she couldnt tell me that information..... I better pray for more patience for dealing with the rest of this process. Just said wait up til 30 days for next email.

For those of you playing at home... Received a false checklist for our IV yesterday (16th) which was scanned June 4. Now just have to wait for them to review our AOS checklist delivered on June 26.... More waiting...

You're very welcome! That was the whole point of the spreadsheet, to understand wait times and get estimates!

I've actually been going through all the non case completes this week and manually updating every single line. I would like to thank those that have an updated signature and timeline that has made that process much easier for me To those that don't have an updated signature (or a signature at all ) and timeline, poo on you for making me work (and sending PMs)

i submitted my G-325a biographic information with my mother current name which is Rubina Asif

now while filling DS-260 its says Mother surnames at birth, her name at birth was Rubina Yasmin but we havent got any record of that.

what should i do ?????

Use her maiden name, as it says to on the form. There's no reason to fret, they're not going to ask for proof.

Are you sure it's a false IV checklist? That would suggest your AOS was accepted on the 15th. Your IV package was scanned 30 business days ago so it should be reviewed.

I would check online for N/A fees and call NVC to see what's going on.
