Just got the CC e-mail from NVC :D:dancing: Had been waiting since the AOS fee status changed to N/A last week.

I have one more question though, if anyone can answer. The email states:

Preference Category Name: CR1

This December will be my 2 year marriage anniversary, if i decide to enter the US after December, will the category automatically change to IR1? Or does the 2 year rule apply to interview date rather than the entry date to the USA?

Just spoke with my wife, and we were approved. They told her she can pick up her visa tomorrow. Thank you to everyone at VJ for all the help and being in the same boat with us. The visa type is based on POE, so if you wait until after your two year anniversary to enter the country then it's the IR1. It's recommended that you mention your eligibility for an IR1 to the officer processing the visa so they don't miss it.

Hi all! Congrats on CCs! I am growing a little worried... It has been almost 3 weeks since my case # was generated and I still can't pay the Fees.. I have a lawyer so I don't have to fill out the DS-26. My lawyer called last Friday and they said you still have to wait, you will get the email but until then you can't do anything. I am wondering who is still waiting to be able to just even login after getting a case number and is it normal that it is taking this long?! Thanks all!
