Yes we are.. My husband did the I-864 just praying its ok and no checklist :clock:

I will keep my fingers, eyes, and toes crossed for you , ok? :)

I'm with you guys too!!! I've been quietly following but I think I may need someone to commiserate with. USPS says my I-864 just arrived today. Good luck to us for perfect forms!

If I request a tax transcript online from http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript and I choose the online option, is this just as valid as the mail option if I print it and have my wife take with her to the interview?

its hard not to feel this way after being a USCIS for so long and now to have too being going through this its just too much.

I'm not sure wen USCIS shipped the case out but I had called NVC on the 20th of June and they told my husband that they hadn't received the case, he called again two days in a row constantly the line was busy wen he finally got thru on wensday they said that they still have not received it and that he shud scan the N0A2 and email it to them which he did and we have yet to receive an email back from them.

Don't give up keep on calling NVC.

Thanks Saylin, I was on the phone with NVC, they expedited my case after the first set of e-mails were not received and now she will be taking all her documents directly to the embassy. So the consular will check them there. I don't know if this is a good thing or if it's better to let NVC check them and send them forward to the embassy but my appointment is July 27 and they requested for me to bring all the documents I had send originally to the NVC.

Hello Everyone,

So i am filling the DS260 form. This is for me ONLY (the beneficiary) applied by my spouse (the petitioner - US Citizen).

I realized that when i had filled the G325A form for the I130, my fathers DOB was entered wrong (thanks to my father). When i was filling the information now, I checked the bio-data page of his passport and found out that his month and date were entered wrong. Also, during the I130 petition i didn't know his city and state of birth and only country. But now I have that information.

What do i do? I believe i should enter the correct information now looking at his bio-data page of his passport, correct? Otherwise it would incorrect information and if i recieve a checklist (which technically is my fault anyways - i should have confirmed it before with his passport and not taken his word for it :bonk: ) i can submit scanned copy of his bio-data passport page. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Again remember my parents are not immigrating, ONLY me. My information is completely correct.

I know it's hard, but try not to get too down. If it makes you feel any better (and I know it won't), I was at USCIS for two whole months longer than you with no RFEs. I would call the USCIS and ask when they sent it to start with and then just keep calling the NVC. You have to keep re-dialing until you get through like if you were calling a radio station to win something! Keep your chin up!

So, I sent an email to NVCInquiry@state.gov last June 13, 204. I just received a reply email today (July 14, 2014) from them. Here's what I got (just an FYI for those who wants to send an email inquiry)

"Dear Sir/Madam:

The Department of State's National Visa Center (NVC) is committed to the

protection of personal information of visa applicants and their

petitioners. To ensure the confidentiality of visa files and to prevent

the unauthorized release of personal information, the NVC requires that

the following information be provided with each inquiry:

Name of the person submitting the inquiry

NVC case number or USCIS receipt number

Petitioner's name

Principal Applicant's name and date of birth

NOTE: If the visa petition is employment-based (I-140), include the

employer's company/organization name instead of the petitioner's name

and date of birth.

Unfortunately, your inquiry did not contain ALL of the above

information. Please resubmit your inquiry with the above information so

we may update our records accordingly and provide you with a specific

response.

IMPORTANT:

Do not let more than one year pass without contacting the NVC concerning

this visa petition. If a period of one year passes from the last date of

contact (by telephone, mail, or e-mail) with the NVC, all submitted fees

and documents expire. If this occurs, the fees must be paid again and

documents must be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration

process.
