I agree but at the same time they are connected thus the evidence.

We can point to the I-130 backlog data and extrapolate it's the cause of the NVC slowdown, but there's nothing concrete we can use to show that there's not just correlation but also causation. There's also nothing official that demonstrates how USCIS catching up on petitions has caused an extremely unfair divergence from the first in, first out processing policy (e.g., Jan 2013 filers awaiting CC with Jan 2014 filers). The case can definitely be made, I just don't think it will be as strong as we could make it at USCIS. Perhaps it's time to submit FOIA requests for NVC documentation or statistics?

I really need help.nvc assigned case number yesterday n today i went online to fill up ds 261 n i think i made a serious mistake.i put NO that i dont need agent(i m the beneficiary).i did not put my my wife as an agent.i forgot.now what will happen.plz i need help

Just go back and redo it and don't go back to it again or it will delay you. Many have clicked on it and it has apparently sent it again and they take the last date when you clicked on it. So you can fix it but once you do don't click on it again. Good luck to you.

Still no case complete.. My wife told me she had a dream where we called and got an interview on August 22nd..Lol. Sometimes her dreams come true though . Highly unlikely this won't though... or maybe it will?

Congrats on all the case completes and interviews that were scheduled!!

I'm praying it will on my end, so unfair for their mistake both of you have to pay for it.

Yup. Confirmed it about 2-3 times for the past two weeks. Said it could take up to 30 business days to be removed. On day 20 now.

it is "under review" and they will get back to me by end of next week....i didnt want to waste another week so i send in the original today

Just remember they say they will get back to you but they wont you still have to call them. SOB's don't keep their word.

Just a thought, why don't you call NVC with out our angel knowing and tell them why do we have to wait 30 days for a mistake you made? We want our case complete today. Just a thought.

I was going to send Saylin chocolate beans, they used to use it as money in South America it's how it reached Central and part of North America hahahahaa hey was worth a try. Chocolate is actually originally from the Amazon just in case anyone cares about facts.

I am a Jan 2013 filer STILL at NVC!!!! ARGHHHHH!!!!! They have done nothing but screw up our case repeatedly. 1 year for NOA2. Then USCIS never sent our case to NVC.. but they made us wait ~4 months before they would even look into it.. I am so sick of all this nonsense and seeing people who applied months and months and months and months after us get their visas ahead of us. Makes me so sick. All I want to do is be with my husband.

OMG I'm so sorry for you, isn't there anyone that can do something you can complain to? Have you contacted your Senator they can usually do something or know who to contact this is just a travesty! My heart breaks for you.
