I really need help.nvc assigned case number yesterday n today i went online to fill up ds 261 n i think i made a serious mistake.i put NO that i dont need agent(i m the beneficiary).i did not put my my wife as an agent.i forgot.now what will happen.plz i need help

Just spoke with NVC. AOS Accepted. Scan date June 2. M super happy :) :) :)

Finally some good news. Congrats!

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

Finally some good news. Congrats!

Thank you both! Yes definitely a step in the right direction. So relieved. Have noticed most of the people get checklisted for AOS. So it was certainly the biggest hurdle of the process.

Yup. Confirmed it about 2-3 times for the past two weeks. Said it could take up to 30 business days to be removed. On day 20 now.

so the stamp or seal on the marriage certificate has to be from the appropriate authority.... bureau of birth....the one i send is from place where we would get alllll our documents birth n death....i am not sure what the seal i had said said so i am going to send over the original today....i will hear from supervisor by next week....i hope they throw out the checklist.....anyone reading this please save urself the trouble and just send the original!

I did the same thing..my IV documents were scanned on June 3rd and I was expecting for a case complete till I saw your post..guess I'll be getting a checklist today or on Monday..I wish nvc went through the checklists faster..

There's nothing that can be done about the notarized certificate now?
