Hi gang! Glad to see the second round of interview scheduling for august has started!

Called NVC today and found out that they have "scanned" our EP packages. I was worried that their dates would start from when they actually opened the emails, but it seems that they've registered them as having been received the day after we sent them, so June 9 and June 24.

Our 30 business days on the AOS package is upon July 22, but we're leaving on our big road trip on the 21st, so I really hope we get some news on that before we leave. It will be much easier to respond if we (heaven forbid) have a checklist on the AOS if we're not in some random town in Montana when we get it!

Good luck to everyone for tomorrow!

Typo typo!!!

Of course I meant nightingalejules and not miles!

The other day I saw the funniest Facebook post about phone texts using predictive texts and how messages had gone wrong. I was crying I was laughing so much. Xx

I guess there is not much to report since we're now waiting for a long time to pay the AOS fee, IV fee, and CC. :bonk:

On the positive side, this thread has become more manageable to read. It was difficult to keep up with 2-3 months ago.

Meanwhile, it seems like the three immigration Facebook groups that I subscribe to have become busier. Some people may be posting messages on the immigration Facebook groups instead. :star:

Oh which fb pages have u subscribed too? I am just really worried because they have not scanned my AOS package into their system which was shipped on 3rd July. Usually doesn't take that long for them to do it. Hubby will call Tomm again. I hope they do it!!

Did people get case complete ???? ( scanning date June 3rd) any updates?? Nvc should work in the weekends. They are taking 3 -4 days to finish 1 day scanned docs. So my guess is it is going to take 1.5 month to get a cc. Guys why can't we all write a complaint ... Like we did before at the uscis stage.. Any ideas guys. This process is stressful

Couldn't agree with u more!! We soo need to make complaint!! This is ridiculous. Times have not doubled but multiplied 3 times. And we have had enough of torture from Uscis! Guys any suggestions where should we complaint to?

HEY, HEY WHO YOU CALLING NVC YOU TAKE THAT BACK. :P:rofl:     :P

Lol! :)) I have been so stressed out lately that I have forgotten to laugh even. I wonder when this will end.

I know, I feel the same way my dear friend but then I look back at how far we have come and think what if we were just starting, makes me cringe. So you are close to the end, just a little longer just hang in there just a few more days and you will have Case Complete. We are here for you and we know the loneliness and sadness you're feeling. I think this process is made to tear us apart, to weaken us if our love isn't strong enough. Let's not let them win be strong a little bit longer and know I for one am here for you as long as you need me. I'll be praying that you will have your CC very soon. :) (F)(L)(F)

I think media can help us again. Guys pls do share ur opinions. People filed in June 2013 are waiting for the cc. That means from June to December 2013 ( 6 months) people who filed are waiting at the nvc stage. Think about people who filed in jan to march 2014 ???? They are also going to be with us at Nvc. It has made the Nvc to slow down the process.....

Exactly. And that's what's the worst thing for us who had to wait on both stages for so long. Atleast they should have two departments one of them working just on 2013 files and other on 2014. It's just so unfair and cruel what they are doing to us. Was it our fault to get married from jan to June 2013? This is just really unfair that people who get approved in 22 days are put together with ppl who waited 10.5 months like me or even 13 months for some ppl at Uscis stage. . I was thinking about the complaint last week. As I can remember after all the complaints ( including newyork times article about uscis delay)- uscis promised us that they will bring the processing time to 5 months and they did try. And Yes, we all got approval within 5-6 month frame. Nvc processing time should be 3-4 month but it seems like 5-6 months now. They should do something. Hope they will finish scanned dated June 6 by this week or else we will have to do something. :(

I got check listed for an incorrect I-864 as well as having to send in a copy of my wife's (sponsor) US birth certif. and proof of employment. I sent in all the documentation they asked for including the cover sheet, but I failed to notice they also asked me to send a copy of the letter they sent as well. Can I just mail that in separate and print my case number on the top right of each page as they required? Or will it really matter?
