We did the same thing. My wife also printed the form for ITIN, signed and mailed to me. The IRS assigned her ITIN and issued our refund all at the same time. I had a "tax expert" tell me I could only file single even after telling them what our lady Saylin had to say about it.

I think the marriage date and date i130 sent is irrevelant for the the whole processing timeline(For NVC). So i rather not put it in timeline.

Those who have AOS scanned first week of June. Have you gotten IV bill invoiced and sent IV package?

I got the GOOD NEWS this morning:

My wife was approved and was told to come back Friday to the US Consulat General in Casablanca to pick up her passport and the sealed envelope.

Thanks you everybody on VJ for the unconditional help and support.

I will add details about the interview as soon as she gets back home.

Our AOS package was sent on 3rd July and they haven't scanned yet in the system! Should I be worried? although 4th to 6th was a holiday but still it's been 3 days since Monday :| what do u think guys? Sorry for posting again but quite anxious right now :|

I am with you. AOS scanned June 3rd and I am waiting. One question - do you automatically get a False Checklist is the AOS is approved and NVC have received the IV documents/DS-260. Are AOS's sometimes approved and we don't hear anything unless we call?

If it's anything like original taxes, you can't get the transcript until the IRS reviews and accepts it.

Besides, from what I've heard here, the tax transcripts don't change after an amendment.

Well my taxes were filed a long time ago so I'm sure it's been reviewed and accepted. Since, as your saying, even if you ammend, it doesn't reflect it on the transcript at any given time.

I should just request a transcript from now, and just take a copy of the amended tax return with a note explaining why I hadn't filed the correct status the first time? Does this sound like the most logical thing to do?

OK, normal for me, I'm confused, read the Wiki for the billionth time and yes I'm a doofus so what . My question is I paid (says paid since yesterday) the IV fee two days ago and I thought that I would be able to fill out the IV feel by now. I'm starting to think it will be a few days more but the DS-260 is available. Is it the norm that the DS-260 is available before the IV? No big deal just curious I was ready and willing to fill it out and zippo noffink.

I received this email today regarding my i-864 AOS form. AFAIK or remember I've filled the form completed. Its kinda confusing now what all do I have to send again? Is the just the I-864 form or other supporting Financial documents (EMPLOYMENT LETTER, IRS TAX TRANSCRIPTS) aswell?

What is Financial Evidence Checklist?
