I've been lurking in the background, and thought I would share my experience. It's been super helpful reading about other's experiences.

The AOS was submitted in early July, and the last update I've had on the I485 is from July 17th stating "Fingerprint Fee Was Received". EAD and AP were approved in mid September. No interview waiver received.

I submitted two service requests over the past two months, and received the same canned response that provides no details: "Your case is currently under review by an officer. You should receive a decision, correspondence or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter." The second SR was submitted when I didn't receive any updates during the 60 days after the response to the first SR. So we continue to wait .. not knowing what to expect next. Such a frustrating experience.

I just want to go back here and say thank you to all who sincerely shared their experiences which was indeed very helpful to all of us especially during our journey to this much coveted card ...;)

I had my interview last April 07 and received a notification a day after that " a new Permanent resident card is being processed and is mailed to my address."

This has indeed been a tedious journey that only those who had experience this will truly understand . WWWWWWWwhhhheeeewwwwww!!!!!

I do not have a lawyer and am truly proud that i survived this journey and of course i would not had made this without the support of my loving wife and our VisaJourney family .

To everyone who is still waiting , WE CAn DO THIS !!!! remember we were once in this situation and survived. ;)
