for the biometric appointment, it is only the beneficiary that is required to be present. they will take the beneficiary's fingerprints.

thanks for the info,may I ask you again,all this interview to get the green card, are they only for the beneficiary?or they required my husband to get the interview too.thanks for listening or rather reading my question,your help is highly ppreciated.

Ughhh! I envy you!

I didn't send an I131 with the other documents and now I really need to travel back to Romania by Christmas. I m going to send it now hoping that it will get approved fast.

Happy day <3 June 11 Got married, exactly 3 years after we first met (in Rome, Italy)
Day 1: July 24 sent packages
Day 8: July 31 received Noa1
Day 25: August 18 received appointment for biometrics scheduled for August 27th
Day 32: August 26 walk in biometrics succesful
Day 75: October 11 card/document production
Day 78: October 14 received text that my I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling.
Day 84: October 20 received text that they mailed my EAD
Day 85: October 21 received EAD
Day 109: November 14 received text with interview date

Im currently on day 90 since my application was received and I have yet to get my case to move to interview.

I went to the USCIS webpage to check on their case goal time frame and I don't know if it me but it seems like it's taking longer now. Telling me that at the Nebraska cervice center my I-130 and my I-485 will take up to 5 months ?

They sent me my EAD already, can't they just hurry up and move my case to testing and interviewing ?

This waiting game is not fun!

My interview is on Nov 5th. My husband will be there with me at the interview - he is the petitioner and I am the beneficiary. In case of family based green cards, the petitioner is required to attend the interview.

07/10 (Day 01): Parcel delivered at Lockbox (USPS confirmation).

07/15 (Day 06): Four Email & SMS notifications from USCIS (around midnight) - one for each form filed.

07/15 (Day 06): Case status check activated on USCIS for all 4 receipt numbers.

07/18 (Day 09): Four NOAs received in mail.

07/22 (Day 13): Biometrics appointment notice received in mail. Scheduled for Aug 1st.

Keep the faith Nat2411. My case status moved to interview on Day 34, but the interview date did not come till Day 86. Wait is the only definitive thing with the GC process. So just have fun while you are in that boat. Cheer up!

Hi guys! After I received my EAD card i went to dmv to take the drivers license test and Boom they tols me i can t do it because i need to apply for a SSN! So..two more weeks for that...:(
