Yeah, they always just give standard answers on the phone which is why I just gave up on calling.

Ugh...I just can't wait to get belligerently drunk once I get that update about my gc!!!!!!!!! :clock::jest:

I'm sure it will be fine!

We just have to be patient.

You have your EAD, apply for SSN, get your Driver's License, apply for jobs if you didn't already and stop thinking about GC

It will come.. some time in the future... :)

We all almost at the end of this journey and it went pretty fast for most of us. Remember that usually you should wait like 6 months for the interview :)

We all almost at the end of this journey and it went pretty fast for most of us. Remember that usually you should wait like 6 months for the interview :)

I certainly hope so! There's a light at the end of the tunnel. Trying to stay positive amidst all of this waiting.

I actually have an SSN already and Driver's License. I am adjusting from another pending i-485 through my mom's employment that was filed in 2007 (they got their gcs after 7.5 years of waiting!). My lawyer withdrew it when my husband and I got married last June and processed my AOS through my husband instead. That is why I already have an existing alien file with USCIS...that freakin file that is taking forever to get to Santa Ana from Nebraska Service Center!!! :ranting:

According to this website the current processing time for I-765 is on files from July 21.

I would really hope so because mine is from July 30. I'm so anxious to hear some kinda news on my case that has been stuck on "initial review" :(

I-130, I-765, I-485

July 29. Mailed out forms to lockbox in Chicago

July 30. Package delivered and signed for

July 31. Finger print fee was accepted (case processing in Nebraska)

Aug 09. Received hard copies with receipt #'s (notice date Aug 01,2014)

Aug 18. Biometrics letter received, appointment date Aug 25 (notice date Aug 08,2014)

Aug 19. Did Biometrics walk-in at Chatsworth, CA location

Sep 15. Requested EAD expedited (on Day 47)

Sep 19. Email received for additional proof to expedite EAD

Sep 20. Faxed personal letter from employer

Oct 01. Email received saying I meet requirements for expedite

Oct 02. Received text/email that I-765 moved to "card in production"

Oct 08. Received email that EAD has been mailed (but online case moved back to "post decision")

Oct 10. Received EAD in the mail

Jan 21. Received email saying case is in "testing and interviewing" interview schedule for Feb 21st. (5months 22days since USCIS received my case)

Jan 24. Received hard copy of interview letter

Feb 21. Interview and 3 hour after interview case moved to "new card being produced"

Feb 28. "Welcome" letter came in the mail

Mar 03. Green Card arrived!!!!!! Expires in 10yrs

This whole visa system and processes are crazy. Friday morning my I485 got updated to card production and then in evening it changed back to decision. Its still shows approved which is good but no update on my EAD yet. They rejected my EAD expedite request again. I did go to the local congressman's office last monday and I am guessing that may have been the reason for 485 status to move. Eitherways, still losing money and it sucks ..

This is the first that I've heard about getting a call to see how the device was.

Normally they have you fill out a comment card after they finish with ur finger prints.

This is really weird, did they ask you any personal questions ?

No, she didn't ask any personal question. She just wanted to know what I applied for, how many times I called the 1-800 number, if I found all the info that I needed on the website and if I was satisfied with their answers. But... This person could barely speak English. Is that normal? I had to ask her question again so I can make sure I got it right. I think I ll call them and ask if they called or not.

Day 85: October 21 received EAD
Day 109: November 14 received text with interview date

I m July 27 th, so I think we re on the same boat! I just called them now about the survey and they said they do call for surveys but they did told me to make sure I don't give any kind of personal information, because they don't ask for it.

Happy day <3 June 11 Got married, exactly 3 years after we first met (in Rome, Italy)

Day 8: July 31 received Noa1
Day 25: August 18 received appointment for biometrics scheduled for August 27th
Day 32: August 26 walk in biometrics succesful
