Thank you! The interview is tomorrow! I'm so nervous, you have no idea.

I don';t know why to be honest, our marriage is real, we are very much in love, have tons of evidence,... but you hear some horror USCIS stories and it scares me:(

I feel you!! Good luck on your interview tomorrow. Just remember to be confident and be yourself! You have nothing to hide since everything is real so you will be fine!! I hope you get a decision right away too! I wouldn't want for anyone to go on this agonizing waiting period we are in. 4 days since our interview and we have not heard anything...it sucks!

I just called USCIS to have my case expedited because both my Driver License and EAD expire Oct 2nd :(

Tried renewing my DL just now at the DMV and had no luck. They said they need proof that I am authorized to be in the US after Oct 2nd.

The person who helped me put in the expedite request was really nice. He gave me a confirmation number and said I should hear back in 5 days. Crossing my fingers that I get some good news because I need me DL and EAD renewed badly.

I-130, I-765, I-485

July 29. Mailed out forms to lockbox in Chicago

July 30. Package delivered and signed for

July 31. Finger print fee was accepted (case processing in Nebraska)

Aug 09. Received hard copies with receipt #'s (notice date Aug 01,2014)

Aug 18. Biometrics letter received, appointment date Aug 25 (notice date Aug 08,2014)

Aug 19. Did Biometrics walk-in at Chatsworth, CA location

Sep 15. Requested EAD expedited (on Day 47)

Sep 19. Email received for additional proof to expedite EAD

Sep 20. Faxed personal letter from employer

Oct 01. Email received saying I meet requirements for expedite

Oct 02. Received text/email that I-765 moved to "card in production"

Oct 08. Received email that EAD has been mailed (but online case moved back to "post decision")

Oct 10. Received EAD in the mail

Jan 21. Received email saying case is in "testing and interviewing" interview schedule for Feb 21st. (5months 22days since USCIS received my case)

Hope it works out for you Nat2411. In either case DL should not be an issue. As far as DL is concerned I think you can renew it as long as you have the receipt notice. All you have to do is go to the DMV and ask them to do a paper based check using your passport and receipt notice. That process takes few weeks, and will result in you getting a letter from DHS. You can take that letter and go to DMV and they will renew. Hope your expedite request works out, but you can still have this method in your back pocket if it comes to that

APPROVED ON THE SPOT!

GOT THE LETTER AND EVERYTHING ELSE!

The interview took around 90 minutes (!), but it was very nice, casual talk, mostly about food, cooking, where we would like to spend vacations etc. A lot of jokes and we didn;t even really feel that was "official"!

Our IO was extremely nice and at the end she said "welcome to America!" and gave us some info how to apply for the second GC in 2 years to avoid the interview and just be approved only by sending the documents.

Well the first GC is for two years, and it's conditional. After 2 years (actually 1 year and 9 months) you have to apply for another one
