I-94 Admission Record Number Changed

Hi guys,

I have a question that has baffled me. My fiance arrived in US on K-1 visa. At that time, I printed a copy of her I-94 record number from online to get SSN. This was 3 months ago. Now we are putting the AOS package together, and I randomly queried for her I-94 number on the CBP website. The number has changed!

She has NOT left the country after her arrival here in March on K-1. As I understand, you only get a new I-94 number when you enter the country. I don't know how it could have changed.

Which number should I enter on I-485? The current one showing on the website, or the one that was there when we printed it out to apply for SSN 2-3 months ago?

Thanks
Arun

Yes, everything else is exactly the same, except the admission record number...

Have you checked travel history? What did it say? If I were you I will send the old one record number since it was on the system for first time. After I read your post I checked again my admission number and thankfully is still the same when I was first came here and the one I printed for my adjustment of status - I still kept the old one as the record-.

Hi,

Yes, i checked that and it is exactly the same. Just one entry (at POE using K-1 visa). I searched all thru google and I couldn't find a single instance of the record number changing..

But, I think i'll use the first number I printed out.

Thanks

Arun

Hi guys, just have a few questions. I got here in the US last September 28. I didn't know that I should go to a website and print my I-94 days or week after I got here. I only found out when I am already gathering forms for my audjustment of status. Will the I-94 still be available even if it is more than 2 months since I got here. ? And also can I go to the site using my phone and see my I-94 and print it later when I already have a chance to print it? And I can print again? Any response will be appreciated. Thank you so much
