1. Yes you can call if you want but you will also know by email. Check on the CEAC website and it should say where your file is.

2. Yes, mine took a week to come by email.

3. Interviews are usually scheduled mid and end of month, I got case complete June 25 and got email on July 11.

Thanks R<3S, yes that helps. I checked on CEAC and is says it's still at NVC, so I guess they've gotten attached to my documents :) Thanks for your reply!

To answer your first question, NVC will only send your docs to consulate after you receive email of case complete ( couple of days in my case)

you will have to call to find out if they sent it, also have to call consulate if they received it ( received a week after in my case )

I really don't have an answer for the rest of your questions, it really depends by case.

This is not good: consulate system for processing passports and visas has crashed.

My CC date according to NVC was 10 July 2014.

I'm trying to be patient, but why haven't I received an interview date yet?

Most people receive their date details within a week. I phoned NVC on Monday, but they said that it's up to my local consulate to schedule the date.

But my CC email stated I'm not allowed to contact my consulate...

So is my consulate just being slow and lazy in informing the NVC?

I'm so tired of this process!

Hi guys! I need advice if anyone has gone through the same situation. Petioner is changing job couple of days before the interview. What documents should I bring during the interview?Updated I-864 affidavit if support form, employment letter and possibly one paystub.
