I am very happy to inform everyone here my CASE IS COMPLETED Today! I am grateful for this site and everyone here. Hope is live and I found that from this site and the people who share their experience here. I have to do mine as well! My response to checklist was scanned on June 11. God bless you all and make this journey to be over for all of us!

Do I check on CEAC to see if it changes from Ready for Interview to Administrative Processing to Issued? We had the interview yesterday and it still says Ready for Interview. I know I should just chill but I really wanted my husband to leave with me next week. However, realistically I don't think it'll happen.

Do I check on CEAC to see if it changes from Ready for Interview to Administrative Processing to Issued? We had the interview yesterday and it still says Ready for Interview. You should, because mine was on the 17th, on the morning of the 18th it was Administrative Processing and on the late afternoon it was Issued.

Just have a look at it, and when i get my passport i'll tell you.

Pls dwheels, is this normal, my case status is still showing administrative processing after my interview on Friday,even though I was approved and asked to pick it up at the circled address this Friday, I'm getting worried.

Then you can pick up on Friday. Everyone goes through Administrative processing . It should change to Issued any day yu still have 2 days. But do call the Visa center before you trek out to Lekki for pick up.

Thought I would check in-- been a few days since I checked in..

my thoughts are on the Medical...

I guess it is normal to take a few days to complete the medical-- my family went to Teguc to get medical (& new "acceptable" birth certificate) in preparing for the 8/6 interview--

5 or 6 hours travel time, hotels, etc etc-- then the Doctor wants to make an appointment for 8/2!!!!(not) -- got in yesterday and I guess tested for TB and have to wait 72 hours to get results!

Are Medicals always this time consuming- hanging out in a hotel in Teguc ....

almost there... cant wait to be FREE of this..

I leave on 8/1 from here to travel to Honduras and meet my wife on 8/3 then we travel BACK to Teguc on the 4th- interview on the 6th!! fly home on the 13th (knock on wood)

Hey everyone,

Just got my case complete on July 21.. I hope they start scheduling interviews soon!

IR1/CR1 Visa - We are using a lawyer!

Embassy: Montreal, Canada

22 Jan 2013 -- packageSent
31 Jan 2013 -- NOA1 from NBC

6 Mar 2013 -- I130 transferred to Orlando local field office (which started the whole nightmare)

Mar 2013 to October 2013 no one would tell us where our case was or what was happening. I suspected the whole time it was just sitting in a corner somewhere in the Orlando field office. I was pretty much right.

October 2013 - get congressman involved. Congressman asks USCIS repeatedly about our case but they won't even tell them anything.

31 Jan 2014- finally get NOA2!!!! (we think the nightmare is over!)

NVC

Our case was not sent from the Orlando field office as it should have been. The nightmare continues. We kept calling NVC and asking if they received our case, and they always said "NO" and that we had to wait 90 business days for it to be received. We called USCIS during this time and they kept telling us it had been sent. After the 90 days of agonizing frustration, NVC then started telling us we had to wait 120 business days. I got our congressman involved again, and they told the congressman it was sitting at the Orlando office this whole time (just as I thought it was!).

16 May 2014 -- NVC case number assigned
24 May 2014 -- AoS and IV bills paid

28 May 2014 -- Sent AoS and IV Packages

6 June 2014 -- documents scanned

Finally, we got our interview rescheduled, September 2nd, 9am :D

YAY!! You can breathe now! :-D

I wonder if this means they've opened up September scheduling? At least they got you in early before they scheduled other peoples!

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

Hey everyone,

Just got my case complete on July 21.. I hope they start scheduling interviews soon!

Interview scheduling should start up next week. Maybe Friday. Fingers crossed. Trust when it starts here you will know first. Welcome to the group.
