Our file is in Transit as of today, yay!!!

Yes, k.dlg & urbangirluk are both at London Embassy. Both have PDs after mine, both had CCs after mine and both their interviews are before mine. We're all in London.

And I would trade interview dates with you in a heartbeat if only I could speak to a real person!!

Its whatever their anniversary is at time of POE. So over 2 years you get 10 year card, under 2 year.

My wife and I just celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary last week, and her POE will (hopefully) be some time next week. So does that mean her green card will *not* be conditional, and it will be good for 10 years? If so, that's very fortunate timing!

I was intrigued by this word so I researched it online. One website mentioned it's an Indian English word!

I learned my bit for the day... Thanks!

Haha...my bad, I should have just used "prepone" ... preponing is I guess just a random way of saying it! But then I thought grammar did not matter here... :goofy:

Timeline

I spent the day catching up on reading the posts. So many great news: yeaaaahhh for all approvals, welcome-homes (Sukie and Julie), interviews scheduled at last, new arrivals to the thread, and whatever else has made the good news pile!

I had a great vacation with my family last week (even with a 7x1 loss! It actually made the 3x0 loss not a big deal :)). In a couple of days my husband arrives in Brazil for our interview on Friday.

I'm freaking out: that's my nature and there's a chance I won't be approved just yet (a two-year residency requirement thing). But hopefully things will go well. I can definitely use y'all's good wishes :)

I've been wondering about her, too!

I have a very slow internet connection on my p Phone. 3 hour interview. Torture! First window was both of us...20 minutes. 2nd window was supposed to be both of us but they got him alone for an hour and 15 minutes. They asked him everything. Down to what kinds of car I drive.. Crazy. Then he came back to sit with me and they called him up for finger prints...I went with him. Then we say down again and they called us back and made us both raise our right hands and swear we are telling the truth. Then he asked like 5 more questions and then handed me the waiver eligibility letter and told us he

will be asked to finish the interview after the waiver us processed

Slow internet combined with being with your hubby, I think we can all understand why you've not been active in here!!

The letter is a step in the right direction, has NSC picked up the pace at all with the I-601s?

I'm sure that was the longest hour and 15 minutss of your life!!!

it was 3 hours total. It was awful. The waiver processing has picked up and I am seeing approvals in 3.5 to 4 months now. I plan to file an expedite because I was laid off from my job. By the way... The new AOS I gave the Embassy was fine. My daughter is sponsoring my husband. Now to file the waiver when I get back home. Pray for us for a fast waiver Approval. I want him home for Christmas. Sorry for the typos. I'm using my cell and we are going straight up a mountain. Hahaha. Thanks everyone for cheering us on

I'm glad it's picked up, I hope your lawyer files the expedite quickly - but I'm sure he knows by now you don't play! ;-)

I hope he's home for Christmas, I hope he has a proper winter jacket!
