Congratulations by the way.

does changing the petitioner`s address at the time of beneficiary`s visa interview at the embassy effect you case in any aspect ??

I am the petitioner for my wife and she will be having her interview next month. I got a new job and I will be relocating so my address will be changed.

How should i proceed to report a change in my address???

New job means an updated I-864 and DS-260 taken to interview. You will also update USCIS (you can do that online).

How can i do that ?

do i have to print a new i-864 and fill that out?

how can i do an updated DS 260 ?

And does doing this and taking these things to the interview delay the case in any aspect?

Btw thanks for your help

once you submit ds-260 you cannot update it by yourself, at least what the website says.

thats what i thought as i am going through the ceac website and it does not give me any option to do that.

can my wife tell them to update it in their system at the time of the interview?

and again does that slow down the visa process???

or does calling the embassy before her interview and requesting them to update in their system an option?

my husband went back to the US. i need to update his residence.

what i'm gonna do is ...

after embassy gets our docs i'm gonna email them about the address change, gonna confirm this at the interview

gonna bring updated AOS for the interview

gonna mention address change during POE

  1. Do i have to print a new i-864 and fill that out? You are required to bring updated I-864 including new paystub and employment letter if that changed since NVC
  2. how can i do an updated DS 260 ? You can try calling NVC and see if they can update the application if not just update at interview
  3. And does doing this and taking these things to the interview delay the case in any aspect? It could. Don't know if they will just take and accept and approve or if they will take and have to investigate and recheck things.

Doesn't mean its yours that's why the DHL tracking is just guessing on our part. Just watch the CEAC status tracker.

You aren't the only one interviewsing or preparing in Poland. Reaffirms, k1's things go out to all embassies almost daily. You have plenty of time before interview.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you were looking to change the date.

When the OFC appointment is complete, do they give the applicant any packet/documents to bring to the embassy?

OFC will stamp the DS-260 confirmation page and put a sticker on the back of the passport. The actual fingerprints and photos are transmitted to the embassy/consulate electronically.

I have a question about the immigrant fee, do you need to bring proof that you paid it to the POE? I printed out a page, but it doesn't really look official.

The POE does not need to see the proof of immigrant fee payment. The fee can even be paid after entering USA. However, it is a good idea to pay it soon after the vias is approved. The fee payment is connected to the printing of the actual GC. No fees paid, no GC,
