Hrm.. no appointment email today. In my paranoia I called NVC again; they confirmed the scheduling. I just want something on paper before I start getting crazy and buying tickets...

Are these appointment letter emails received on nights/weekends through automated sending, or only during business hours?

We called at like 10:30 pm, Jul 9. That is the date of the scheduling.

The email arrived at 4:54 pm, ET. It was sent by NVCInquiry@state.gov

The pdf letter attachment is dated Jul 10.

Interview scheduled, email received today :clock:

YAY!!!! :)

My wife's visa was issued today!

she will pick it up in couple of hours!

Good luck all!!!!

Yay! I picked mine up yesterday!! What a joyful moment that was :goofy:

Yesterday was a bad day, I wasn't thinking clearly! I meant, I looked at dwheels' sheet, looked at the interview dates and their subsequent signature/time line to see when passport was received.

That's what I meant to type, does that count? :-)

Hey guys - do you register on traveldocs before or after the interview so that your visa gets delivered?

In Canada, it's prior to the interview. I'm not certain about yours. Hopefully someone has an answer for you, but keep searching official sites as well.

Thank you.

[...]

I LOVE your Michael Jackson dancer in your signature :D:energy:

do i need to bring documents beside what the NVC requested (I864 EZ) to the interview...the NVC got all originals and photocopies....Will the USEm ask for something else? getting interview jitters now.... :(

Most people take copies of everything they've submitted since the beginning as well as recent proofs of relationship. Be sure to take the DS260 confirmation page as it often is requested.

So, worst case scenario, and I can't reschedule my interview, and I can't attend because I'm not physically able after my surgery, what would happen?

Think positive, I'm sure you can reschedule! :D

I need help to make sure I am doing the right thing, I register for Loomis in Montreal and I followed the instructions.[...]

I'm not sure what happened there but one of your first choices was to just organize courier service... it seems you chose something else as you shouldn't have reached any pages dealing with appointments. I don't know what to tell you! :(

Today I received an e-mail from the embassy- they rescheduled my interview to Aug 26th (it was originally on July 31st)

This is terrible news because I purchased a ticket for Aug 31st :S

[...]

Contact them immediately and try to move that appointment forward again! Good luck!!

YAY!!

On ours, some if the lines made no sense. Like on the Passport line. It is marked with the letter that states it was sent to the consulate, (Y), But we never submitted any passport. Just a copy of the biometrics page. And two of the letters have the same meaning, (D & Y), the NVC SENT THIS FORM OR DOCUMENT TO THE EMBASSY OR CONSULATE . And we have a D and Y.

So, to cut any confusion or mistakes, everything is going to be taken to the interview.

Anything that says "R" means you did it online. Anything that says "O" means NVC sent it. Anything that says "F" means it isn't required. Anything that says "$" means you've paid. Looks like you are clear to go, but READ the instructions to see if it tells you to bring anything - especially new passport photos....

Hey guys - do you register on traveldocs before or after the interview so that your visa gets delivered?

You can (and should) register at the US Traveldocs website even before CC. You will create a Log In, select a password, and create a profile. Then you have to wait till you get the interview letter to schedule the fingerprinting appointment at a OFC.
