My husband went and re-picked up his passports and visa from the embassy today. The corrected the name mistake, but A# didn't change. Everything looked good this time so I paid the Immigrant Fee today!

Woo!!

Can someone just clarify- when we move to the USA we'll be married for under two years. That means my husband gets a three year greencard?

Hi everyone, can someone help me or explain to me how to track DHL. In the CEAC website shows Current processing site Montreal. Thanks!

If it says currently in Montreal, there's nothing left to track as it's already there! :D

I was looking through dwheels' spreadsheet earlier and I don't think anyone got their visa in 3 days. Usually it takes about a week to receive it. Now that I'm using my reading comprehension skills I see you're referring to the Status change. Maybe it will say Issued tomorrow.

Did they tell your husband he was approved at the interview?

I don't see anything on the spreadsheet that comments on receiving the visa :unsure:

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

Hey guys - when booking the immigrating spouse's flight the airline is asking for the resident card, but my wife has not receive her green card yet. What should I put there?

The stamped visa should do, unless you don't have it yet. If you're booking online, then try putting the Alien# which is on the visa as well (I believe you need to add a leading 0).

Sure they didn't mean some ID# from the passport issuing country? That's the case in my own.

Hi everyone, can somebody help me with this. Does NVC gives priority to relatives of citizens as compared to the spouse of LPR while scheduling the interview? Because my case got completed on 24th June, my priority date is current and I am just waiting for interview letter, people from my consulate having cc date of 30th June got the interview date but I have not heard anything yet. If anybody has some clue please update.

GAHH! My PD is before both of yours, my CC was before both of you and my interview is after both of yours. W T F Proof that it's a lottery. :protest:

P.S. I know both of these ladies, so please don't think I'm taking it out on them because they both know I'm not! :)

Conspiracy Theorist's hat on: They scheduled you very early on during the August window and yet they chose for you the very last working day of August. Extremely unlucky or a parting shot from NVC?

I would give them hell after POE in every possible legal way; blogs, letters to DOS, letters to House/Senate Reps... etc.

I would suggest you email the embassy once they receive the case, state the dates you cannot attend an interview and attach the corroborating medical documents. You might get any of the following three replies:

a) They postpone your interview, or

b) They bring it forward (would be great), or

c) (and they did this with my wife's B1/B2 visa a few years back) They'll keep the interview date and just ask for your passport to stamp the visa on it. Doubt they'll do that with an IV, but who knows. They might just go through your documents and decide just that.

Hello and congratulations to everyone with a scheduled interview. It sure looks like London is scheduling dates backwards though!?

When you guys call the embassy in London re: interview dates, which department/number are you calling? I thought there was no direct line for IVs?

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

Does anyone know how long, from interview schedule date, it takes for your packet to leave?

Our scheduling was done on 9 Jul, the received emailed letter is dated 10 Jul. But the DHL tracking starts at the point of exit airport, not from it leaving the NVC facility. So, I am not sure how many days it takes from scheduling to airport pick up. Do they courrier the packages over to a DHL facility in Boston? Why does it not show info from pick up in New Hampshire? Weird, no?

For Israel, as the destination, the DHL site shows shipments like every other or three days.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.
