Hi All, my case got completed yesterday. I was reading the interview FAQ which says they typically schedule interivews last 2 days and first week of the month. Does it mean we have to wait for end of the month now? Do they schedule the interview at short periods than? I was hoping for August interview..is that possible?

Yes, provided the available/remaining slots for your embassy will cover the entire waiting queue, or at least up to your case. They just started today round 2 of Aug interview scheduling. I've seen people getting interview letters before CC letters, while others wait 2-3 weeks if their CCs just missed a scheduling window. I expect to be one of the unlucky ones, as I don't expect a CC for another week at least.

Thanks, so you think they are still scheduling..I have a chance to get into current window? My case was completed yesterday morning like 10.00 am. I think I have seen August 16 interview scheduled for someone.

Good luck for your CC, the NVC really is a nightmare.

Who gives the interview date NVC OR THE EMBASSY????

I'm guessing there are separate US consulates for Israel and Palestine. Where will your interview be? Jerusalem, West Bank, (gulp) Beirut, (gulp gulp) Ghazza?

How did you schedule the appointment? What about the medical?

Create an account at the USTravel Docs website: http://www.ustraveld...ml?firstTime=No Once you have the interview letter, or the date you can make an appointment at one of Visa Application Centers listed here:

For the medical we are going to call and make the appointment probably tomorrow...

Just make it a little bit ahead of time just in case you need to send the documents to your spouse in india or something..

I know I need to send all the AOS/DS-260 confirmation page, tax documents, interview letter, and the confirmation page for the fingerprinting appointment.. and bunch of other things.. lol it's probably easier just to mail it instead of having to scan million pages.
