i cant wait to get case complete and my interview... when they send a case complete do they send interview date at the same time ??

Well since you just sent in papers expect about 30 or more for them to review. No issues you should hopefully have case complete by end of August. Be nice end of July maybe get in for a September slot. But a October interview slot is more realistic. Just focus on case complete. Maybe NVC will get the summer rush started and get faster.

My interview schedule date is 6,august 2014 at 7:00 Am at Islamabad Embassy ,so i have few question regarding the interview.

1- what kind of questions are being asked by the consular.. ?

Any kinds of questions they feel. It doesn't matter whether you live together or not. I have seen questions asked "what color is the petitioners, room, car". What is their brothers wife name. Now many of these questions probably came out of conversations in your emails you submitted. That's why its vital the beneficiary knows exactly what was submitted (you would be surprised most petitioners fail to do this step).

Where she works? What does she do. Who knows its what they feel they know but they also want to see how you answer? Are you defensive if asked about age, religion, married outside your race (just saying if these were things)

2- i have to take my medical report with me..?

Yes you have to being the sealed medical with you I believe for your embassy or do they mail? Not sure. You'll know when you go to your medical

3-How much marriage pictures i have to bring with me..?

Bring the album why not make sure the pictures are easy to take out don't go crazy. But at least have up to date.

4- I have to take money to pay some immigration fees to embassy if required and how much.. ?

No money required for any Visa fee for IR1/CR1 you paid all to NVC.

The last fee you will pay is the green card fee on the ELIS website anytime after interview up to a year to receive green card in mail.

5-and what important things i have to take in my mind while going for the interview?

hmmmm what important. That's personal on you. Just know your wife if you don;t know you don;t know. Don't get rattled be relaxed like you are talking to an old friend getting them caught up on your life.

6-How long (minutes) the interview will be.. ? please advice..

As long as it takes dear. Expect to be in embassy a few hours the actual interview you talking to CO is probably 5 min to 30 min.

Every consulate is different. I know the Montreal consulate is still scheduling August Interviews; I'm forecasting we will get an interview on August 19th. I went to the Canadian Portal and looked at several timelines there and found out that most interviews occur approx. 36-38 business days after CC date. But this number will of course be different at every consulate.

Aug 22nd would be 37 business days. I think you will be last week of August, possibly first week of Sept.

That's just my methodology, so take it with a grain of salt. Nothing is for sure. I've just used the data from all other Montreal cases in the past few months to predict that it will be 36-38 business days from CC. Max was 38, min was 30, avg. is 37.

So weird! someone on the london forum said a couple of people got an email, the day before!! telling them their interview was cancelled and to call and make another one! imagine that! we would have been so mad as we would have been in london all ready for interview after travelling from Scotland. PHEW it didnt happen to us, esp cos of our booked flights, but esp sorry for those that did get caught up in that, apparently a couple of VJ members mentioned it somewhere on here.

Sorry you didnt get it moved up, but glad you only have a 2-3 week separation, that will fly! you might even get cheaper flights being in AUG

I'm glad that didn't happen to you with it getting cancelled! My husband is a stone throw from London, so he'd only grumble about having to sit on the Tube LOL

I already booked my ticket flr the 14th August, I never planned to be at the interview since it's not required. And spending our anniversary together is more important! His plan to arrive in the US 2 weeks after interview.

Did you book your ticket to the US before the interview or did you decided to wait? My husband and I are at odds about that lol
