I should've moved to England :ranting::protest:

Officially would not recommend Dublin for preclearance.

You know, I was thinking the same thing, after everything you've both been through just to get him here only to have more bureaucratic nonsense to deal with, I would feel the same way. This is like the worst episode of The Twilight Zone!

Well yesterday and today NVC been busy shipping out I got plenty. I used EXP 25 JUL 2014A (usually Fridaus and mondays is their ship out of Boston day). NVC may say it left 25 thats their hands but it gets sent to Boston and not until they ship usually 2 days later it gets logged in to track.

I remember getting an e-mail the day after my husband's interview was scheduled. He never received anything. When we got our interview re-scheduled, he received a hardcopy letter in the mail from the Embassy.

Oh my goodness what a mess. Do they have his Green card correct or is that what they are trying to fix. And it's humans they make mistakes. So sorry. Goodness he is here and still craziness.

I guess fortunately(?) his green card couldn't be issued in the incorrect name because he was filed under a K1. Since they didn't have him entering as a permanent resident the SSN and green card procedures never kicked off. He spent an hour at Deferred Inspection today getting name and visa type sorted out with a very helpful woman who said it should be all set... we'll see what happens when we try SSA again on Tuesday <_< Green card is allegedly going to arrive in November but I'm not sure I believe the 4 month time frame she quoted, just because the ELIS thread here on VJ seems to be moving a bit quicker. Who knows anything about any of this anymore :P

They told you that you would have it by Saturday? I wish there was Saturday mail in Portugal so we could get it too :(

Congrats by the way!!!

Thanks! The embassy is open on Saturday there, closed on Friday. They told her she can pick it up directly from them. This is what we understood.

Wow! You really zoomed through this process (knock on wood). My best wishes for your future plans.

Thanks, and good luck to you as well. I see you got your case complete, not that far off the projected date ;)

Yeah, 9 months and 20 days from NOA1 to Issued. I'll admit we were lucky with the expedite and with the interview date. If you remember NVC didn't receive my EP sent AOS and IV docs which I waited 42 days to hear back from them before resending. If I resent and went the normal route I would still be waiting for them to review the docs (would be 34 days today). And then wait for a CC, and then for an interview date.

After my case was expedited July 9, she was able to select an interview date July 14. When we checked availability the night before, the closest they had was August 12 and 17. BUT the next day when we did schedule, July 27 had opened up. So I would surely be here until October if not for that. Hope to have her here in the coming days (knock on wood).

ISSUED!!!!!! Visa ISSUED!!!!!! Woot Woot!!!!!!! I screamed and jumped on my hubby. He had no idea what was going on haha.

Ours was issued as well!

Something must have happened everywhere because you and I have the same interview date :)

If my husband gets it in the mail Friday, he will still make his Saturday flight. I wonder if they send them in the mail the day that they are listed as Issued?

We bought a Express Post bag that guarantees next day delivery and we sent it to a business address in the city to ensure that it was a metro area where they guarantee next-day delivery.

Hopefully it gets here! Congrats!

Here you go don't think you are in the right place and the EXP 25JUL 2014A is like this not all together.

That may be the bundle your stuff is in.

Why don;t you just focus on your CEAC Visa tracker?
